What Shoppers Say About For Eyes
For Eyes receives polarized feedback, with 80 percent of shoppers giving five-star ratings and praising staff knowledge, helpfulness, and frame selection. Satisfied customers highlight positive experiences with specific staff members and appreciate when employees go the extra mile to find deals. However, the remaining 20 percent report significant service issues, including rude or dismissive associates, problems with insurance benefit redemption (particularly difficulty using benefits on discounted frames), and lens measurement errors that required corrections with continued quality problems.
The core complaints center on inconsistent customer service experiences across locations and frustration with how insurance benefits are applied to purchases. Some customers feel staff prioritize sales over addressing questions about prescriptions and coverage. These negative experiences appear concentrated in specific store locations and may reflect inconsistency in training or policies around benefit application rather than universal store-wide problems.

Sorted by: Most recentI want to share a really negative experience from my visit to the Deerfield location. The associate I dealt with was rude and seemed more interested in a sale than helping me out. When I asked specific questions about my prescription needs and coverage, they kept brushing me off and weren't interested in listening. Instead of answering my questions, they pushed me toward an expensive frame that wasn't right for me. When I tried to steer things back to what I actually needed, they got annoyed, seemed irritated, and walked away while I was still trying to talk.
My visit to the Coral Springs location turned out to be really frustrating. I brought in a $300 insurance benefit, but they refused to let me use it with any of their discounted frames. Even when I picked out a clearance style that wasn't on sale, they still wouldn't apply the reduced price. At the end of the day, I would've only saved $50 while they pocketed an extra $250 in my pocket. Their pricing approach felt unfair and not customer-focused at all. I was upset when I left and have no plans to go back.
Had a wonderful experience ordering my new pair! The staff member I worked with really went out of their way to help me find great deals. Super grateful for how helpful they were!
The people working here are genuinely nice, really know their stuff, and always willing to help. They've got tons of different frames to choose from.
The team messed up my lens measurements the first time around. When I brought them back for a redo, it took about 10 days and the second pair still had issues. Definitely wouldn't suggest this place.
Erica gave me outstanding service, showed tons of patience, and was genuinely nice. I really valued how much time she spent walking me through the various frame choices. She was professional and courteous throughout the whole experience. Thanks for having employees like Erica who really help people figure out frames, especially if you're not totally familiar with all the details.
Filippa was really knowledgeable and helpful when I worked with her. She adjusted my frames so they sit properly on my face again. My glasses had been slipping down every time I bent forward and she got that fixed.
Placed an order for contacts in late October and still haven't gotten them. Called customer service in early November to check on the status and was told they were on backorder with no previous notification. They said they'd go out in a few days. Got a shipping confirmation email shortly after but as of mid-November the package still hasn't arrived. My money's been tied up for weeks now with no product.
