What Shoppers Say About Allpowers
Allpowers products are rated 1.7 out of 5 by 18 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. The most consistent complaints center on product reliability issues, including units that fail within months of normal use, rapid battery drain, and random shutdowns. Equally problematic is customer service and warranty support; multiple reviewers report that Allpowers refuses to honor warranty claims, provides slow or nonexistent communication, and fails to process refunds even after products are returned. Some customers also report receiving used or defective units and encountering misleading inventory information on the company's website.
A small minority of shoppers (17 percent) gave positive ratings, though even limited positive feedback is absent from recent reviews. The overwhelming consensus among reviewers is to avoid the brand entirely, with customers citing better alternatives available elsewhere. Common pain points include unresponsive support teams, poor communication during the warranty process, and a perceived failure to stand behind advertised guarantees like money-back protection.

Sorted by: Most recentReally frustrated with this whole experience. I ordered the S200 kit with 60W solar panels but they only shipped the panels without telling me the S200 was unavailable. When I reached out, they wanted me to pay extra to upgrade to the R600 model instead. I agreed and paid, but once it arrived, it turned out to be incompatible with my panels. Their customer service was unhelpful and I definitely wouldn't recommend them.
Grabbed this power station thinking it would be perfect for camping and backup power during emergencies, but I've been really disappointed. After about a year of light use, the screen started acting up and I couldn't see battery levels or charging info anymore. Six months later the whole thing stopped turning on. The frustrating part is it comes with a 5-year warranty, but getting them to actually help with repairs or replacement has been impossible. Support kept giving me vague answers and long delays until they just quit responding altogether. For a product at this price point that's supposed to last, this is unacceptable, especially with the warranty they advertise. Don't buy from them unless you're okay potentially losing your money within two years. There are other brands out there with way better reliability and customer support.
Purchased an R600 power station in March that arrived defective. Sent it back to Allpowers within days for a replacement, but here we are in mid-May and I still don't have anything. No station, no money back, and their customer service hasn't even responded to my messages.
Bought the R600 last July and had a nightmare getting it. The 200W panel and power system took forever to ship and arrived at different times. Things got way worse from there. After just one day using it, an E2 error showed up, which turned out to be a battery management system glitch. They told me to restart it, so I did. Next day it happened again and wouldn't even restart. I asked for a refund and they denied me, claiming it was past the 30-day window even though they'd dragged out shipping way longer than their own return policy. They'd only do a replacement, which I didn't want. I disputed it with my credit card company but somehow they fought the claim and won, so I never got my money back. By then I'd had the unit almost two more months and kept seeing E6, E4, and E2 errors repeatedly. The thing was basically worthless but I kept trying to find some way to make it useful. Put it on a pond pump with 400W of solar panels but it could only output 120W.
I ordered the R1500 model from this company and it's fantastic. Shipped from Germany to Ireland in just 5 working days and everything arrived in perfect condition. Really happy with my purchase and grateful for the great service from Allpowers!
DO NOT BUY THIS. Got the R4000 unit and within 30 days it quit on me. I could actually smell something burning inside. We barely used it! Emailed Allpowers which is the only way to contact them and they agreed to pick it up and send a replacement. That was a month ago and they've stopped answering my emails even though I message them every single day. I'm worried my 1300 pounds literally went up in flames. You've been warned.
I have an R4000 that was having trouble charging from my solar setup. Reached out to support and they connected me with their Amazon team who asked me to record a video of what was happening. They arranged a return right after that. They also answered some other questions I had quickly and correctly. Plus I've got two sets of their 400W solar panels that have been working great for more than a year aside from that one battery issue.
This is a follow-up to my first review from September 11, 2024. I bought an Allpowers unit back on November 21, 2022 with a 2-year warranty. In August 2024, during my second trip using it, the unit broke down. I contacted Allpowers and they asked who sold it to me. I said I bought it brand new through a popular online marketplace. They told me to find out which seller the marketplace had gotten it from. The marketplace told me it came directly from Allpowers. I sent that info to Allpowers and haven't heard anything since. The ad when I bought it clearly showed it had a 2-year warranty. When I checked their warranty details after it failed, I discovered it only covers limited parts, which wasn't what was advertised at the time of purchase. The warranty's expired now and I paid over 1100 pounds for what's now just a doorstop. Be careful before buying from Allpowers.
