What Shoppers Say About LEM Products
LEM Products is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 6 shoppers, with a heavily polarized rating distribution. The overwhelming majority of reviewers report serious operational failures: multiple customers experienced unresolved order issues including items not shipped despite extra fees paid for expedited delivery, missing items from shipments, and complete unresponsiveness from customer service. Product quality issues have also emerged, with customers reporting equipment failures (dehydrators shutting off, mixer blades snapping) and problems with accuracy in replacements. One five-star reviewer praised the build quality of a sausage stuffer, noting the product itself is solid, though this single positive review stands in sharp contrast to the widespread complaints about company operations and customer support.
The consistent theme across negative reviews is that LEM Products fails to operate with the professionalism expected of a legitimate business. Customers report being ignored by customer service representatives, contradictory shipping information, items not arriving as promised, and difficulty obtaining resolutions for defective products. Even when the company has attempted to address problems (such as sending replacements), execution has been flawed. The lone satisfied customer's feedback suggests that individual product quality may be acceptable, but systemic issues with order fulfillment, shipping accuracy, and customer service responsiveness appear to be widespread problems that significantly undermine the company's reliability.

Sorted by: Most recentThis company doesn't operate like a legitimate business. I've placed 3 orders with them and every single one had problems. First purchase, their customer service rep fed me excuses trying to stall while they supposedly fixed their mess. Second time, they just stopped responding to everything. Third order, they shorted me and didn't include items that were supposed to be in the box. I will never order from them again. They ignore voice messages, emails, and rarely even pick up the phone. Messages through their own website portal get the silent treatment too. They claim they can't find our communication, then accidentally slip up and reference something we discussed. It's wild. I can actually pull up screenshots of every message I sent through their site and they just ignored them all. Who knows where this operation is run from, but don't count on getting any help after your money clears. Trust me, if you ever need to reach them, you'll wish you'd read this warning.
Skip the next day shipping option if you know what's good for you. I paid extra for it yesterday morning and my order still hasn't even left the warehouse. No confirmation message came through like they promised it would. When I called customer service to ask what was going on, they said because I ordered after noon their time, it won't ship until Monday. That cutoff time isn't anywhere on their site that I could find. I placed my order around 9am on my end. I'm pretty much fed up with LEM now since I needed that vacuum sealer by Sunday and could've just grabbed one from a store nearby instead.
Picked up one of their larger 10 tray dehydrators back in February and things were going fine until about three weeks ago when it started acting weird and kept shutting itself off unexpectedly. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement, which was great, but here's the catch - they sent me a smaller 10 tray model instead. The racks on the new one are narrower so I can't fit as much meat, and nobody ever told me it would be a different unit. I was expecting to get the exact same dehydrator back.
Got the LEM 1869 Big Bite Tilt Meat Mixer (25-LB) about two years back. I only pull it out once a year to mix meat for my annual dry cured sausage project, so it's had maybe 3 uses total. Recently when I fired it up, one of the blades snapped right off. Reached out to LEM and talked with Kevin from their supervisor team. He told me the warranty had already expired, so the best offer was 30% off a replacement. Look, I get that warranties expire, but this thing barely got used. My real issue is this shouldn't happen on a machine that's hardly been touched. I'd recommend anyone thinking about buying one to check out some of the other reviews too, since there's a pattern of LEM quality issues and them not standing by their gear the way you'd hope.
Ordered artificial sausage casings from LEM and they just didn't perform right. I've been trying to reach out to the company about it but nobody gets back to me. Even tried leaving feedback directly on their website and got nowhere. This is seriously disappointing customer service.
