UPDATE ON MY ORDER: The 7 lamps finally showed up on 3/14, and they look absolutely gorgeous. If you can handle waiting several weeks for delivery, there's a really nice selection to choose from. Super Long Wait Times. I ordered some attractive light fixtures at a great price on Jan 31, 2026 and they charged my card right away. But then 39 DAYS went by and lights.com wouldn't give me any shipping info. Their customer support always gets back to me quickly with apologies, but they kept pushing back my estimated delivery date each time I reached out - I must have emailed 5 times.

Don't fall for their promises! If you need lighting, shop somewhere else. I ordered 2 light fixtures for my bathroom renovation on Dec 10, 2025. I kept checking but got no updates, so I called and spoke with someone on their team. They said it would be a couple more weeks, and I told them I wanted to cancel. They offered me 10% off to keep the order, but I declined. I asked when I'd get my refund and they said the following Monday, but that didn't happen. I called again on 1/6 about the refund and got a bunch of excuses. Then on 1/7 I got a text from FedEx saying my lights were being delivered, even though I'd tried to cancel! Don't trust what they tell you. I'm lucky I actually ended up getting my lights even though it took a month. The fixtures themselves look great, and I'm relieved I didn't buy different ones instead.

My order of two pendant lights took 4 months to get here. I placed the order in July expecting to have them within a month. When they didn't show up, I reached out and found out they were stuck on a cargo ship with even longer delays coming. They mentioned they'd get back to me but they never did. Getting any kind of update meant I had to contact them first. I finally received the lights in December, which was really disappointing given the long wait.

Masters of Delay Tactics. I put in an order on October 14, 2025. I got half of what I ordered. After waiting 3 weeks for the rest, I gave up and asked them to cancel and refund my money. They told me the other items had already shipped and they couldn't process a refund. Once I got those items, I asked for a return shipping label and sent pictures of everything as they requested (they wanted photos of the front, side, and bottom of each box!). Then they said they were having issues with their return label system. After asking multiple times for a label and threatening to report them to the Better Business Bureau, they finally sent one within an hour. I sent the items back right away. As of 11/21, they're dragging things out again and saying they need 30 days to review my return. I'm starting to think I'll never actually get my refund as they keep finding new reasons to stall. Stay away from this company. I won't be ordering here again.

I bought some light bulbs along with a light fixture, but the $40 worth of bulbs never came. When I emailed about it, they said shipping would happen in about 3 weeks. Time went on and nothing arrived. I sent another message asking to cancel those bulbs and get my money back. They confirmed the cancellation and said I'd get my refund once the finance person approved it. I kept following up with more emails, but 8 months later, still no refund. I'm done with this company and won't order from them again.

I ordered some fixtures about 6 weeks ago and only 1 out of 3 arrived, which has set back my project and means I need to schedule another electrician visit. When I asked about expedited shipping, they shot me down. The whole experience was frustrating with slow replies or nothing at all. Apparently they were looking into it, but nobody let me know anything until I managed to get someone on the phone and basically demanded some kind of update on what's taking so long.

Hope you're not in a rush for what you order. I placed an order on 2/12/24 for over $650. Half arrived on 2/24, and I was told the rest would show up by 4/24 since they were backordered. Then it got pushed to 5/22. Then another delay: 6/7. I tried calling at that point but the customer service line didn't work. So I sent an email. By late May my renovation needed to happen and I couldn't wait any longer. I had to buy lights elsewhere to complete my project. I requested a return on the unopened box from Lights. Right around then they pushed the delivery date back again to 6/19, and remember - I'd ordered all this back in February! I shipped the unopened box back on 6/7. A couple weeks passed and we weren't refunded, so I reached out to CS. That's when we figured out we weren't talking to a real person but to an automated chat system that just kept giving automatic responses about system upgrades and accounting approval delays to delay giving our money back. It's the end of July now and Lights has kept both their products and my payment. It feels like a scam. This might have been a legit business once, but it's not anymore.

Mixed bag experience - Most of my lights showed up and I'm really happy with them. But I'm still waiting on 4 lights after more than 7 months. The big issue is how poorly they communicate. Their ads are fantastic, but the actual service and follow-up are really lacking. They don't reach out on their own about shipping status. No tracking numbers in your email, so you have to sign into your account to find out what's going on, and even then the details aren't clear. I've been checking my order for 7 months and unless I send them an email (calling won't work - nobody answers and their voicemail still mentions the pandemic from 2021, even though it's 2024 now!) there's basically no way to get real answers. I just want honest information. Are the lights stuck somewhere halfway around the world? Just let me know so I understand what's happening. That would make a huge difference. Instead I'm just left waiting and hoping they show up someday.

Hidden Return Policy. I bought items on Oct 31 from a promotional deal, and lights.com processed it on Nov 4, with items arriving on the 10th. Some items didn't work right and some were damaged. I wanted to send back a few things, but they told me there was only a 7 day return window from the order date. I've looked everywhere and can't find this rule posted anywhere. When I made my purchase, nothing said these were final sale items. I thought they were promotional products, not clearance. Their website doesn't explain a special return policy for promotional purchases, and the packing slip didn't say the order was final either. This kind of sneaky business practice is not okay.
