The thing is so small you can barely fit anything in it, and there's this awful smell coming from it that I just can't get rid of no matter what I try. Every time I open it the stench is unbearable. Backpacks I've bought at actual theme parks never smelled this bad. I like the design but that's about it because the bag is basically unusable. It's packed so tight that the opening doesn't work right and your hands get stuck trying to get things out. Pretty horrible overall.
Skip this place and save yourself the headache. Shipping took forever even though the website claimed otherwise. They couldn't even send my whole order at once despite this being 2024. Never got any real shipping update like they promised, just a confirmation and a partial refund notice. When customer service finally did respond it felt robotic and completely indifferent. The shipping method they used had to be the slowest option available. My package never arrived at all even though it supposedly got delivered. There was no tracking photo either so I couldn't have done anything to prevent it getting stolen or lost. Funko won't take responsibility and says it's on me, so I lost both my money and the items. They also bombard you with aggressive spam marketing. My very first order went okay but this last time was absolutely terrible. I've lost all faith in Loungefly and the Funko brand as a whole now.
I ordered a Rainbow Brite tote for $35 through another retailer and got it delivered the very next day. I looked at ordering from them again since they carry tons of Loungefly stuff on their site with that same next-day shipping. It seemed too good to be true but the package really did come super fast. I should have just stuck with that same retailer because Loungefly took 4 days just to ship my order and according to UPS I won't get it for 10 more days. They're charging $80 for mini bags while that other place has the same bags on sale for $60, offers free shipping, and actually treats customers well after they spend money on premium products. I ordered on Wednesday and the other place shipped it Monday with Friday delivery, but with Loungefly I'm waiting forever. Hopefully the quality justifies the higher price but honestly I won't be ordering from Loungefly again.
This is either a fraud operation or the site has been compromised. I don't give it any stars. Tried ordering a cute toy for my daughter on November 29th and paid through PayPal. The first transaction set up some kind of recurring daily or weekly charge to some random person's name, not Loungefly. PayPal notified me and I cancelled it quick. Then the checkout never sent me back to complete my order or confirm shipping or give me an order number. Thought it was weird so I tried again putting in my PayPal info manually. Same thing happened except this time under a different random person's name, no recurring charge but still charged, and never completed the transaction. Still haven't gotten any item. I had to use their chatbot since I can't find any real customer service contact info. I've also filed a fraud dispute with my bank. Will update if anything changes.
Be careful before spending money on these pricey backpacks. I got a Christmas-themed one from the Disney store and only used it lightly for 2 months with just my wallet, keys, and phone in it. The rest of the year it sat stored under my bed at normal room temperature. For the high price I was shocked when the gingerbread zipper charm fell right off, the side seams split open, and the handles got damaged and lost their coating. Disney told me to contact Loungefly after 30 days passed, so I did. Loungefly said to contact Disney instead. After Disney refused to help, Loungefly basically said they don't know of any manufacturing problems and won't help. So if your expensive Loungefly bag breaks after a month you're out of luck. I tried asking what the realistic lifespan of these bags is since 2 months seems ridiculous but nobody answered. It's sad because the designs are actually really nice and I'd love to own more, but I can't justify the cost.
My order arrived incomplete with one item missing. There's no phone number so you have to email them. It took a week just to hear back and they said they'd ship the missing item but it would take two weeks. After two weeks I emailed asking about it since I hadn't seen a shipping confirmation. This time it took five more days to get a response telling me it's now out of stock and sorry about that. They did agree to refund my money but I have to wait another 3 to 5 days, almost a month total from when I first ordered. If they'd just shipped it when they found out about the mistake it would have gotten to me in time since it was still available then. There was zero genuine apology, just kind of a cheerful well here's your money back and that should make it all better attitude. I guess I shouldn't be surprised based on what other people say.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Ordered a backpack over a month ago and when I checked the tracking it said delivered but it never showed up. I talked to customer service and they said it was delivered and I should check my post office and ask my neighbors. I did all that with nothing to show for it. Called them back and suddenly they're saying they only offer a 10 percent refund because they lost money too, and also that they sent the wrong package so I need to find it and return it before I get my actual item. Been going back and forth for days now and they just told me a partial refund is all I'm getting because of their losses. I never got my order and they didn't even send the right thing anyway. I took screenshots of everything and plan to share them. Absolutely horrible service. Don't waste your time or money here.
