Purchased these in February last year and they quit taking a charge in April. The warranty had already expired by then. You'd think a product would last longer than about 14 months. They offered thirty percent off, which isn't much. A product that dies after that short amount of time doesn't seem worth it to me. For the same price I could get some cheaper earbuds that would last longer, and mine had prescription lenses too. Think twice before buying.
These glasses held up great and the price is really fair. I was impressed by how well they're made and how long they last. Got pairs for everyone in the family and they work perfectly for driving while still letting you stay aware of what's happening around you. You've definitely got a loyal customer in me!
A woman actually came up and asked me what sunglasses I was wearing because her favorite song was playing through them. These glasses have serious presence because of the amazing audio quality and the fact that they just look great. I never leave home without them anymore. They charge super fast and keep going all day long. Really impressed with the whole package.
Don't pay attention to the complainers. I've been a Lucyd user for years now and they basically invented the smartglass market and still dominate it. Their support team is available round the clock and actually helps. These guys are a real company listed on the stock market, not some crowdfunded startup like most other smartglass makers out there.
Don't trust this company's return policy. The real problem is they don't actually follow it. Their hundred dollar warranty doesn't mean anything. Send in defective lenses and they'll charge you fifty percent of the replacement cost to fix the issue. Complete waste of your money. I'll be warning others about my awful experience here. One star is honestly too generous but that's the minimum I can give.
I've reached out multiple times about my order with no luck. The website promised next day shipping but my order has been stuck in 'preparing' status for almost a month now. I've sent emails four different times, including two requests to cancel and get my money back because this wait is ridiculous. The only response I got basically ignored what I asked and said they'd check with the lab. Really disappointed with the customer service here. Their chat support feels like you're talking to an automated system that just asks for your email and then nothing. They advertise a discount code with supposedly no strings attached, but once you go through checkout and try to apply it, you get a message saying it won't work for your item. I'm filing a report with consumer protection authorities because this looks like a textbook false advertising scam.
