I've been purchasing Maggie's cotton crew socks for over two decades, but my latest order of 3 pairs has really let me down. When I first wore them, they kept sliding down constantly like they were way too big. I've got older pairs from a couple years ago that still fit snug and feel great. Something's definitely changed. Are they cutting corners on materials now? I sent these back and they're supposed to replace them, but if the next batch has the same problem, I'm done buying their crew socks.

My latest order of Maggie's footie socks turned out to be a real letdown. These aren't cheap, but the quality seems to have taken a step backwards. The newer ones I got all have the same issue with the ankle elastic stretching out way too fast, which makes them slip right off your heel when you're walking around. I've got some older pairs that actually have holes in them from being worn so much, yet that ankle elastic is still holding tight. Seems like something went wrong with how they're making the newer batches.

These looked beat up right out of the box and the elastic gave up the ghost after just one wash. Paying ten bucks for a pair of socks that fell apart is not what I expected.

The quality of these products is solid, but the selection for larger sizes is really disappointing. For their basic crew socks in size XL, you only get natural and black available. It seems like they decided not to stock anything else in that size because other colors don't move as fast. If you wear a typical shoe size, you're golden. But if you're a size 12 or bigger, your options are pretty limited. Doesn't seem like they're too concerned about serving customers with bigger feet on their core items.

I placed an order for four pairs of socks in early December that apparently got lost in shipping. I asked about getting my money back right before the holidays, but here we are in January and still nothing. They said I'd have to wait 14 business days to process it, which seems like a stretch honestly. They're not even listed on Better Business Bureau, which says something. On top of that, when I ordered what should have been a gift for someone, the item was out of stock, but nobody told me upfront or offered me other options. I just got my refund with zero explanation or heads up. The whole experience was a mess from start to finish. Maybe their socks are actually great, but I guess I'll never find out.

I've been wearing the same two pairs of these socks for 6 years straight. If thick, durable socks are what someone wants as a gift, this brand has plenty of choices. Sure, the color's faded a bit over time, but there's not a single hole in them. It's amazing really how well made they are. I also grabbed one of their infinity neck scarves and the stitching quality is outstanding, which matters a lot to me. Found them at a store selling their line and even my partner wanted his own pair. In a world full of throwaway fashion, companies like this that actually stand behind their products are rare and worth every penny.

These products are fantastic and I've been a loyal customer for years now. The quality is consistently excellent, and they make wonderful gifts for anyone. What really impressed me was how their customer service team handled a shipping address mix-up I made. They called me right back and sorted everything out without any hassle.

I've been buying organic socks and clothing from Maggie's for many years and they've been pioneers in the organic cotton space. When you really think about what goes into conventional cotton clothing the pesticides that wreck farmland, kill wildlife, and hurt the people farming it, plus the exploitative factory conditions where mostly women get paid next to nothing you realize every purchase is a choice. Either you're supporting those harmful practices or you're voting for a better world. I choose to support companies doing better by the planet and by people.
