What Shoppers Say About memobottle
Memobottle has extremely polarized customer experiences, reflected in its 1.5 rating from 21 shoppers. The small minority of satisfied customers praise fast shipping, attractive product design, and color options. However, the overwhelming majority of reviews describe serious fulfillment and customer service failures: orders that never arrive or take months without updates, packages marked as lost with no resolution, incomplete shipments missing paid items, and unresponsive customer support that ignores emails and fails to process refunds or replacements.
Shoppers consistently report that the company does not respond to inquiries about missing or delayed orders, provide tracking information, or offer solutions when packages are lost. Several reviewers describe attempting to dispute charges with their banks as a result. The few positive experiences appear to involve either rapid delivery or, in one case, eventual resolution after persistent attempts to contact the company, though even this was marked by initial unresponsiveness.

Sorted by: Most recentWish I had checked these reviews first before ordering. It's been three weeks without the bottle, the customer service seems fake, and if it ever does arrive, I'm sure it'll be underwhelming.
Put in an order on a specific date, waited 2 weeks with nothing to show for it. I went ahead and cancelled through their site but then got zero follow-up or refund. Good thing I used my Amex because even though they're trying to keep the money, my card company will definitely fight to get it back for me.
Dropped over 75 pounds on a pair of water bottles with silicone sleeves and I'm definitely not ordering from them again. The sleeve on the larger bottle has this mottled look with white splotches scattered all over the terracotta cover. It totally ruins how the sleeve looks and you can see it right away. The website pictures and description don't mention anything about this mottled or white spotted appearance. I contacted their customer service thinking at this price the product should be perfect. Their suggestion was to leave the cover sitting in the sun for 12 hours. Are you serious? So I should fade the sleeve? That's ridiculous customer service.
Really wanted to give Memobottle a shot since the idea seemed cool, but I'm totally let down. The pricing is way too high for what you're actually getting. The bottle itself feels cheap and flimsy, nothing like what you'd expect to pay that much for. On top of that, they won't accept returns at all, which is pretty sketchy and probably not even legal depending on where you live. When I tried reaching out to their team about returning it, I got sluggish replies that didn't really answer anything, then they just ghosted me completely and never addressed my return at all. It's frustrating because I used to believe in what they were doing, but this whole thing feels like a ripoff. I'm done with them and honestly think other people should be careful about ordering from this company too.
They have a no-returns policy if you simply change your mind about your purchase in the UK.
The service here is absolutely terrible. I ordered an A5 cover and matching bottle top. Eventually the bottle showed up, which was nice, but the cover and the top never came. After waiting a couple days I emailed their support and got a message asking for pictures of the package and to have the courier ship it back, but I'd thrown away the packaging by that point. I told them the packaging itself was in great condition and I seriously doubted a delivery driver would tear open a bag just to steal a cover and leave the bottle it attaches to. It's pretty clear those items were never packed in the first place. They fired back 48 hours later saying I'd have to wait while they opened a claim with the warehouse, with no clue how long that takes or if the warehouse will even approve it. The bottle looks nice enough, but the service is unacceptable, shocking, and terrible with absolutely no regard for what the customer needs. If you're thinking about buying one, go through Amazon so at least their customer service will make sure you aren't taken advantage of.
I requested a return as I'm allowed to do under distance selling rules. They're illegally refusing to let me return it and claiming they have their own secret rules and terms instead.
I ordered a bottle that never got delivered to me. They've ignored every single attempt I've made to get in touch through email, contact forms, and social media messages. The service is unacceptable and inexcusable. Skip this place.
Did you actually look at what their return policy says? They straight up state they won't give refunds for stuff like "memobottle not being the material you thought it was." I totally missed that because I assumed since they sell in the UK, you could obviously return items within 30 days like normal. My bad. These guys definitely know that pictures and videos can't show how mediocre the actual quality is. The design is the only thing going for it. For what you pay, you could get a stainless steel bottle the same size from another decent brand, just a bit slimmer and more square shaped, or an insulated super high quality stainless steel option from a UK maker that's ethical and eco-friendly too, though with a more traditional bottle shape. The prices here are way too high even when you factor in their mission. If you want folks to switch to reusable bottles, you gotta offer real quality at a fair price. I like the concept, but I was disappointed the second I pulled it out of the box. Wouldn't recommend it. You'd be better off grabbing a regular bottle from the supermarket that's actually good quality.
Got a bottle from their website and accidentally ordered the wrong size. Asked if they'd swap it for the smaller one but they said no exchange and refused a refund either. Try buying through Amazon or PayPal instead. Unless there's actually something broken, they won't work with you. They're based in Australia. Here in the UK we're supposed to have 14 days to return or exchange items. They don't follow that law. Be careful because I made an expensive mistake.
