What Shoppers Say About NeweggBusiness
NeweggBusiness.com receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 77 percent of reviews rating it one star. Recurring complaints center on receiving damaged or incomplete items, particularly open-box merchandise with missing components; unacceptable return windows that customers report as inflexible even when delays are beyond their control; high return shipping costs that make returns financially impractical; and unresponsive or dismissive customer service. Several reviewers contrast their poor business division experience with positive experiences on Newegg's consumer site, suggesting the business platform has distinct operational issues.
The small percentage of shoppers who rate the site favorably (8 percent five-star reviews) are vastly outnumbered by dissatisfied customers. Beyond product quality concerns, reviewers cite pricing that is higher than comparable options, inventory management problems that result in late cancellations, and an overall lack of willingness from support staff to resolve disputes or offer remediation. Shoppers consistently state they cannot recommend this platform and report abandoning it after negative experiences.

Sorted by: Most recentI bought 5 Smartboards from this company and the whole experience was a disaster. When I set up an account it got disabled just two days later. I called and spent an hour and a half on hold to figure out what happened, but nobody could explain it to me. Then I used my business card to place an order that needed delivery to our office in Virginia, but instead it went to where my credit card billing address is, which is in Nebraska. That's a major mistake for a business supplier to make and they didn't offer any compensation. I had to pay extra to ship everything from Nebraska to Virginia myself. If I hadn't urgently needed the equipment for an installation I would've cancelled everything. Customer service wasn't helpful, and the verification department never even called me back to fix things. I really hope management sees this because their current processes are broken.
Great experience working with this company. Orders get delivered quickly and most items ship with no extra charges. I'd definitely recommend them to others.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from their marketplace. Third party sellers on there basically take your cash and Newegg enables them to get away with it. I ordered something that showed as in stock from a vendor called HotDealz4Less, and honestly that name should have been my first warning. Two weeks went by before they shipped anything, and when it finally got here after three weeks total it was the wrong version with a different part number. I could've ordered the same thing from Amazon and had it in two days. Then it took another week just to get a return label. I shipped the item back and they confirmed receiving it within four days. Now it's been two additional weeks and still no refund. I've reached out to the vendor directly and tried contacting Newegg every way possible. Every response is 'provide tracking and we'll investigate' or 'give the vendor more time.' Are you kidding me? They have my money from six weeks ago, they shipped me the wrong product, they have the item I sent back which arrived almost two weeks ago. What more time could they possibly need?
