Nitecore Store Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Nitecore Store
Nitecore Store is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 17 shoppers, with a significant majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. The recurring complaints center on product durability issues (failed zippers, defective batteries, cables that break within months) and deeply frustrating customer service experiences, including unresponsive support, warranty claims that are delayed or refused, lack of local repair support despite advertised coverage, and allegations of deleted negative reviews. A small minority of shoppers appear satisfied with the store, but they represent only about 18 percent of reviewers.
Shoppers describe Nitecore products as overpriced relative to their actual lifespan and reliability. Those seeking warranty claims or support report experiencing runarounds, long delays, or outright refusals to honor coverage. The company's practice of redirecting customers to third-party platforms (like AliExpress) with minimal compensation rather than handling resolution directly has frustrated military and outdoor enthusiasts who depend on dependable tactical equipment. Several reviewers indicate they will not purchase from Nitecore again despite past loyalty.

Sorted by: Most recentAs a military reservist I relied on Nitecore for tactical equipment, but my BP23 Pro bag's zipper completely failed. The company proposed a resolution through their support system, but they've dragged their feet and won't follow through. They just redirected me to their AliExpress store offering a pathetic $10 discount on a $150 bag. Their so-called lifetime warranty is meaningless. They ignore emails and won't stand behind solutions they offered. If you need reliable gear and a company with actual integrity, shop somewhere else. This is a complete failure in every way.
Skip this purchase. The battery pack works intermittently at best, making it unsafe and unreliable for regular use.
I ordered three USB-A to USB-C cables directly from their website for charging their battery banks, and all of them failed within a few months of regular use. My negative review about their cable quality vanished from their site over the years as they redesigned it - either buried or straight up deleted. When I logged back in and reposted it, the same thing happened again. I haven't given them my business since then. Looking at their current product lineup, I only see cables with colored accents now.
Completely useless. They couldn't offer any service or support for my Nitecore product, even though there's a local representative in my area. The rep won't support the products, and they wouldn't even give me a referral to someone who could help with repairs. Poor service, bad communication, and dishonest business practices. The authorities really should look into how they operate. Get your gear elsewhere from a brand that actually stands behind their products.
My flashlight broke and when I tried to use the warranty they sent me on a runaround and refused to replace it. The product is overpriced, poorly made, and the warranty means nothing. Don't spend your money here. Update: They finally sent me a replacement, but only after I made a huge fuss about it. Even though they replaced it, I'm done dealing with this company.
Avoid this company completely. The support in my region is terrible. They advertise a five year warranty but after 3.5 years they told me they're out of spare parts and too bad. Never again will I buy a Chinese brand with such poor local support.
Yet another Chinese manufacturer selling flashlights that work great at first, then fail without warning. The marketing looks impressive and the products seem cool, but they're not built to last. When things break down, good luck getting help - there's basically no US-based customer service, and their website doesn't have useful troubleshooting info. My MT1A flashlight worked fine initially until I swapped out the battery, and that's when everything stopped. I tried different AA batteries thinking maybe that was the issue, but nothing worked. I even tried adjusting the spring. Now I'm stuck with an expensive paperweight. The company offers no online help, no phone support in the US (only in China), and dealing with warranty claims means emailing overseas. Based on what I'm seeing in other reviews, this isn't a one-time problem. Skip this brand and go with something made domestically instead.
I've carried various tactical flashlights throughout my career in the Navy, private security, and special response work. When I saw Nitecore advertising their 4400 lumen EDC light for about $130, I was hesitant but decided to try it anyway. Four years later I'm still using that same light on duty and during team training. I've owned PowerTac, Fenix, Streamlight, and Helius models before, and the i4000R beats all of them hands down. I'm planning to grab the new TM12K in the coming weeks. I'd absolutely recommend Nitecore, especially to anyone in security or law enforcement.
I purchased two UT27 head torches from Nitecore. Both units developed broken hinges after just five uses. Really disappointing quality for the price.
I can't believe this level of customer service still exists in 2024. I spent $90.95 on a Nitecore MH12GTS, which is supposed to be one of the premium flashlights on the market. After using it twice, the battery got dangerously hot - too hot to hold, like it was boiling. I emailed the US service team and it took a week to get a response, even after sending follow-ups. They said contact the manufacturer directly. The manufacturer said contact US service. I got frustrated and replied to both with copies of all related emails and asked them to work together. A week later they asked me to ship it to their US service center instead of just sending me a new one. After shipping it out, I got no updates for two weeks until I followed up. Then they told me it needs repair and will take 12 weeks. Three months. On top of the two months I'd already spent going back and forth. For a nearly $100 flashlight, this is unacceptable.
