Purchased this based on a recommendation from Which magazine. Now it won't play BBC radio stations or various other channels. Polk support is ignoring my attempts to reach them. Don't buy this.

Bought two Polk Assist units and both are malfunctioning. They won't play certain stations including BBC and several others. They're also constantly having trouble connecting to the Google home app. Do not recommend this product at all, it's clearly garbage.

Had a five year coverage plan on my speakers. Right before it was about to run out, both crossovers broke down. I reached out to customer service and while they couldn't manufacture replacement parts, they honored the warranty completely. They replaced my speakers with newer models that are even better. The whole process was smooth and their response time was quick. They were great to work with. Already planning to buy Polk speakers next time I need them. I'm recommending them to everyone I know too. Really appreciate the help.

Polk Assist speakers stopped playing BBC radio in the UK. I bought them specifically to listen to BBC radio and within months they quit working. Seems like Polk didn't update their infrastructure properly, and now customers are left hanging. Absolutely terrible service. Never buying Polk again, can't rely on them.

Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering from them because they use FedEx for shipping. FedEx refused to deliver my order due to an unrelated shipment that needed driver's license scanning. Polk's support team was completely useless. I cancelled and went to a local retailer instead since I couldn't get it delivered in time. Even worse, FedEx wouldn't leave the order on my porch despite no signature being required. I'm done with them as long as FedEx is their shipper.

They ship via FedEx and that's a major problem. FedEx refused to deliver my order because of an unrelated order that required ID verification. I called Polk support and got zero assistance. I had to cancel the whole thing and buy from Best Buy instead since I needed it before Christmas. FedEx also wouldn't leave the package on my porch even though it didn't require a signature. Won't be ordering from them again as long as FedEx is their carrier.
