What Shoppers Say About prAna
prAna has highly polarized customer experiences. Positive reviewers praise the quality and durability of the clothing itself, with some noting excellent customer service interactions and satisfaction as repeat customers. However, the majority of recent reviews highlight significant operational problems: shipping carrier issues with OnTrac resulting in missing items and lack of tracking transparency, refund processing failures where customers report being refunded for only partial returns, unresponsive follow-up communication from customer service, and inconsistent warranty claim handling with contradictory explanations from the company.
Quality control issues also appear in recent feedback, with reports of pilling and snagging after minimal wear despite the brand's premium positioning. Some reviewers note manufacturing inconsistencies, such as belt loops that don't match specifications. The disconnect between prAna's warranty promises and actual claims handling is a recurring frustration point, with customers feeling misled about coverage terms.

Sorted by: Most recentOrdered something mid-November and by mid-December still had nothing. Called to check on it and found out it's backordered until mid-January. Really frustrating since I could've grabbed Black Friday deals and been wearing it by now. Prana never reached out to let me know any of this, and honestly they didn't seem bothered about the situation at all.
Just because I buy something doesn't mean I want to get sent your catalog. It's wasteful and honestly kind of rude. Mine went straight to the trash.
Got a shipment notification on June 26 saying my item was sent and was told to hang tight. Never showed up. Hit up customer service and they told me to be patient while they looked into it. Wait, shouldn't they have already checked before telling me to wait? That's literally what tracking is for. I'm glad I held out for a deep discount before ordering because this company already seemed sketchy with all their social media ads. Turns out they're exactly what I thought.
I bought two pairs of pants from them a decade ago and used them pretty heavily for rock climbing. One pair held up great the entire time. Just recently grabbed two more pairs and they literally fell apart in under two weeks with the same usage. The only explanation is they switched to cheaper manufacturing and lower quality materials while keeping prices exactly the same. Not worth it.
Worst experience ever. $90 pants ripped after just one day on a hiking trip. I talked to three different customer service people and they all said the warranty only covers manufacturer defects. Like okay, but what about the actual durability of your products? Your $90 Koen pants are basically a one time wear item. Would never purchase from them again.
Their customer service refused to honor the Welcome Gift that came in their email. I clicked the link and the code wouldn't go through on checkout. I contacted them about it and they claimed they couldn't credit my card for the full price charge I made. We both know they could have, they just wouldn't. They're an online business so they have the capability. Probably some fine print thing, but still poor customer service on their end. Won't be shopping with them again.
