What Shoppers Say About PupJoy
The majority of PupJoy customers, rated 4.3 out of 5 by 22 shoppers, report satisfaction with the product quality and customization options. Reviewers highlight that dogs enjoy the toys and treats, particularly bully sticks, and praise the packaging and ability to tailor boxes to individual pet needs. However, a notable group of customers report serious issues with customer service responsiveness and billing practices. Multiple shoppers describe difficulty reaching support through chat, email forms, and phone lines, with unresolved complaints about incorrect item sizes and missing products. Additionally, some customers report being automatically charged for renewal subscription periods without explicit permission, which has created frustration despite the initial appeal of the product selection.
The disconnect between product quality and customer service represents the main area of concern for this retailer. While those satisfied with their boxes are enthusiastic advocates, those experiencing problems face barriers to resolution that appear to leave them unassisted.

Sorted by: Most recentI discovered this subscription randomly browsing online one day and thought I'd test it out. I signed up for their 3 month plan. The signup process was straightforward and they reached out right away to confirm everything. My first shipment arrived super fast. Getting a surprise box for the dogs was honestly so exciting. Inside I found a cute plush toy, a leash, 2 varieties of treats, and an antler chew. The leash and toys are definitely getting plenty of action. I've only tried one of the two treat bags and 2 of my 3 dogs are really into them, though the third one is just picky in general. The price point is a bit higher than some competitors but not by much, and the actual value of what's in the box seems to exceed what I paid. I'd suggest checking them out!
We've had such a wonderful time ordering from PupJoy. The dogs recognize that special box when it arrives and they go absolutely wild with excitement! Their customer support is truly exceptional and they clearly know what they're doing. I had a really fun experience hosting a PupJoy gathering with friends and earning rewards points from the event. They've created a fantastic program. I tell everyone about this company, they've got something great for any dog owner!
I'm consistently thrilled with the quality items included in each monthly delivery for my puppy. The stuff I got this round was genuinely high quality and my puppy absolutely adored it. That ultrasonic squeaky toy situation? Game changer! I always make sure to read the guide about training and development stages. It's like they really get me and it helps ease my worries about puppy stuff. In my opinion this beats any other subscription option I've come across.
Month after month I'm getting stuff that's just right for my puppy. This last shipment had some seriously great items that my puppy went absolutely nuts for. Who knew about a squeaky toy at a frequency only dogs can pick up on?! So glad I found pupjoy! I always read through the training and life stage guide they include. It really feels like they understand what I'm going through as a new dog owner and it helps me feel less stressed about typical puppy stuff. This is hands down the best subscription out there and I've tried quite a few.
You won't find another service with boxes as customizable as PupJoy, and throw in their fantastic support team and you've got a solid operation. That said I gave them a 3 out of 5 because the toy-only options feel a bit thin. The antler I got was super small, and the regular toys tend to be rubber or hard plastic that my dog destroys in no time. The one bright spot is they usually sneak in one really nice toy and an interesting accessory, but with only 3 toys total it hasn't impressed me much. For toy-specific boxes I'll stick with PupJoy, though their bigger and cheaper competitor options might win me over if I didn't need this feature. Still, the customer service is genuinely excellent and that customization is huge. If they upgraded to more durable toys that hold up to serious chewing, I'd be a much bigger fan.
PupJoy is fantastic! What I really appreciate is the flexibility to switch things up month to month like all treats, or a mix of treats with toys and other stuff. The people who work there are outstanding. I actually had to call once because my email alerts weren't coming through, and they jumped right on it. Turned out I'd mistyped my email when signing up and they got it straightened out fast. I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot!
I've been through 4 boxes now and each time my 3 pups get equally pumped about what's inside!
Our Cavashon, who weighs about 10 pounds, is over the moon with his box. We ordered based on the small dog selection even though he's basically in the toy breed range. Everything in the box has been a winner and he's already impatient for the next delivery. We're also big fans of their cat equivalent, CatJoy!
Just wanted to share something exciting you might not know about yet. Have you checked out PupJoy? You get monthly treats and toys that are specially put together for your pup! Your furry friend will have an absolute blast with all the cool toys and delicious treats! You really should give it a try!
I do tons of research before purchasing anything for my dog, Max. Everyone talks about BarkBox, but does that mean they're genuinely the best choice for your pup? Not really. I looked into tons of different dog subscription boxes and ultimately went with Pupjoy. Every single box, every order, every support email and call has been great. What really stands out to me about Pupjoy is the care and attention they put into customizing each dog's specific box. You get to personalize everything, and if your dog doesn't want something, they'll swap it out for a different toy at no charge. You just donate the original one. When Max wasn't interested in one of his toys, I contacted support and got a replacement. The owner himself wrote me back instantly and even gave me his cell number to talk about which toys would work best for Max. Max got his 3rd box today and hasn't put the new toy down yet (it's been almost half a day). Pupjoy's worth that little bit extra compared to their competitor to get the service level and toy and treat quality your dog deserves. We're hooked!
