What Shoppers Say About Quiksilver
Shoppers report uniformly negative experiences with Quiksilver, with every review rating the store at one star. The most consistent complaint centers on customer service that is either unresponsive or unhelpful, with customers describing automated responses, lack of follow-up, and inability to reach live representatives. Multiple reviewers report issues with orders (incorrect tracking, wrong items shipped, full charges for partially available inventory, non-functional promo codes) and receiving no meaningful resolution.
Beyond customer service, shoppers also cite problems with product quality and warranty claims. Reviewers mention products failing prematurely (sandals with separated soles and broken stitching, snow pants with failed zippers) and warranty claims being either rejected outright or left unresolved despite multiple submissions of requested documentation. The consensus among reviewers is that the company takes payment but does not stand behind its products or provide adequate support, with several explicitly recommending alternative retailers.

Sorted by: Most recentAwful customer service experience. They shipped the wrong thing and say they can't correct it. Don't order from this place.
Four weeks later and my order still hasn't arrived. I don't think it's coming at all. I've reached out to customer service lots of times on both email and phone with nothing to show for it. Getting a real person is impossible.
Got a sweatshirt at a shop in Hawaii. Put it on twice and the fabric was nearly falling apart. Called Quiksilver support and they wouldn't help at all, said I needed to deal with the store directly. The product quality and service were both unacceptable. I'm not buying from them again.
I looked up both Billabong and Quicksilver when shopping for T shirts for my spouse. Grabbed 4 total, 2 from each brand, only to find out they're actually from the same company. So far just one has arrived even though they told me everything shipped. Customer service suggested I check with neighbors and dig through my yard for the missing items. Had to create an account to track things down, and learned the packages got sent back to the company with no reason given. Now I'm working on getting a refund. Skip ordering from this place entirely.
Placed an order for a gift and got a confirmation email right away. The package never actually showed up though. I couldn't get anyone from customer service to help me. Tried talking to their chatbot but it wasn't useful at all. There's no way to have a real conversation about getting my money back.
I'd give them a zero if I could! I bought a snowsuit for my grandson on the 29th of November. Never got an order confirmation email. Still haven't received it and can't look up the tracking. The postal service told me the scan was weird and said to contact the seller. After fighting for days to get someone on the phone they finally picked up. They promised to investigate and get back to me. That didn't happen and then the weekend arrived and nobody was available. I had to wait until noon to try calling again. I've sent multiple emails with no one responding. While I was waiting it snowed and we had to buy a different snowsuit.
Wish I'd looked at the reviews first before spending money here. The company hasn't reached out about my late delivery at all or if the items were actually sent. I'm still waiting on a shipment confirmation from mid-September and it's now mid-October. The brand's old reputation fooled me. Really disappointed across the board.
Still no refund a month after returning items. Sent back 2 pairs of shorts that didn't fit right and have been trying to follow up for a month without getting responses. Avoid this brand now that it's gone downhill.
There's basically no customer service. I was trying to place a new order with a different credit card for my vacation home. Before I could even enter the verification code they sent, they charged an old card to my previous address without asking. I never said they could keep that old card. Called right away to stop the order but they said they couldn't. They hold onto your card information even after you tell them not to. Avoid this company.
I'm going to talk about three items I bought: two regular T shirts and one heavy jacket. The first T shirt came from a shop in Italy for around $27. Within a year it fell apart with small holes showing the fabric was worn out. The second T shirt I grabbed in Eastern Europe for about $25. After twelve months the seams started coming loose and a hole opened up on the shoulder that's gotten to be about 1.5 centimeters. I picked up the winter jacket at the same European store for approximately $100. It's a puffy fluffy style that doesn't seem right for actual winter because wind goes right through it and it's freezing out there, though it looks impressive. I'm not saying much about this one, just noting what weather it's actually suited for. The jacket has three rips now after a year of normal wear: two at the shoulder and one under the arm. The jacket wasn't abused or anything but the material rips incredibly easily. I do like the design and style of the brand. The problem is the quality is really bad and cheap feeling.
