They held onto my money for a whole month then randomly refunded it with no explanation at all, and when I emailed asking what happened, they never answered. What really gets me is I found out later that customers who ordered the exact same bottle weeks after me actually received theirs. So it wasn't an availability problem, they just decided not to fulfill my order while completing others. I sent four separate emails between mid-January and late January asking for information. Not one response. Getting ghosted for over a week and then getting refunded on a bottle that's now 400 dollars more expensive somewhere else is the worst service I've gotten from any liquor place. Skip this business if you want to get what you actually paid for.

Remedy used to be a great place to get whiskey online but something has clearly gone wrong over the past couple years, and you can see it from all these one star ratings. Seems like maybe the ownership or management changed because the customer service is now absolutely horrible and basically non-existent. They're rude, defensive, slow to respond or just don't respond at all. They don't have a contact form on their site anymore and won't answer the phone about online orders. They ignore special instructions you write in when ordering and then ship them out printed in the box like they're making a point that they deliberately didn't follow your request. The only advantage they have is price but that doesn't make up for such terrible service. My last order got cancelled and refunded after I kept asking when it would go out. They sent one reply to multiple emails saying it was delayed but just got back in stock and I'd get tracking soon. Two weeks pass and I start emailing daily to find out when it ships. All I got back was a refund with no explanation.
I purchased four bottles of specialty vodka. They emailed back and refunded one bottle while saying the other four would be sent out. I never got any of the bottles. When I asked about it, they said I didn't buy their package protection. They never even sent an email confirming the package was on the way. This company is a complete disaster and total rip off. They took forever to respond to my questions, sometimes days. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze money out of people by pushing their protection plan. We've never had issues with packages disappearing from our porch.

I did call their support team once because I was having trouble with the checkout process. My address is in an area with multiple towns sharing a zip code which was causing the issue on their end. The customer service person I spoke with was great, figured out the problem quickly, and sent me a direct payment link to bypass the shipping glitch. My items got here fast and in perfect condition. I'd definitely order from them again.
Don't order anything expensive from this place. They ship you damaged products and wrap previously damaged items in protective sleeves. When accountability comes up, they just blame the shipping company even though the packaging itself is perfectly fine. Shop somewhere with a better reputation instead.
I've ordered from them multiple times without problems until recently. This last order arrived with terrible packaging. The bottle inside was fine but the box got completely smashed from being wrapped in tight plastic with barely any cushioning. I pay extra for shipping coverage and insurance specifically to prevent things like this. Getting a damaged box was frustrating and not what I expected for what I paid. I collect these bottles so the box condition matters just as much as the bottle, and I deserved better care.
Customer service here is really bad. There's no way to actually talk to someone about an online purchase. Getting email responses takes forever. The carrier lost my shipment but Remedy won't cover the full cost of what I ordered. They claim their insurance only covers the bottle itself, but I know for a fact the carrier refunded them for shipping. So they basically made 23 dollars off my situation for nothing. Stay away from this place.
They charged me for an order and never sent the product. When I tried to reach their customer service department, they never replied. This is straight up fraud.
These people are con artists running a scam operation. I'm taking legal action against them for charging my account and not delivering what I ordered. Stay away from this business entirely.
This seems to be one of those places that lists something as available, takes your payment, then doesn't bother telling you they have to wait for their vendor to send it or have to track it down somewhere. Bought a bottle on May 7 and haven't heard anything since. It's now May 19. All I want is a heads up if there's any delay with something I purchased.
