Lots of redness and itching on my forearms and shins. Ended up needing antibiotics and steroid cream from my dermatologist. They literally told me the razor doesn't work for my skin. It was totally new and I used it with Aveeno shave cream. Never again! Honestly worried about a serious infection developing. This ruined my whole summer.
Would go with zero stars if the option existed. This razor always left me with razor burn. Tried using it with shaving gel and without shaving gel. Cost too much to just throw away so I kept trying. But I'm done with this company for good. Even their product to soothe razor burn wouldn't help.
Hands down the worst razor I've tried. My legs had the worst response ever with tons of huge swollen ingrown hair bumps that took forever to fade (some marks from a month ago still haven't disappeared, and new ones are still healing). Really awful. I've never had this kind of problem with any other razor or brand, even though I've tested tons of different types at every price level. My skin on my legs isn't even sensitive, but this destroyed them. Trash it, don't use it. Seriously, do a small test area first before committing to this one!
I've been using this brand's razors for years and thought they were fantastic. Just bought fresh replacement blades like I do regularly. When I pulled one out to use I couldn't believe it. I had to double check the package thinking maybe I grabbed something generic. Nope, still the same brand. But man, they really cut corners and shrunk the product down. The whole thing is like half what it used to be, which messed with how the pivot works and the lubrication strip that made it so great before. Not purchasing again. Really disappointed. It's gone from a quality item to a cheap knockoff while they charge even more. Major letdown.
Watch out with this one! Got the worst razor burn under my arms right away. My legs turned out okay after shaving, but the underarm area was brutal. I have a serious nickel allergy and I've never experienced underarm razor burn this severe in my life.
This razor shredded my legs, worst one I've ever had! Been shaving for fifteen years and this takes the prize for being the absolute worst. The plastic design is wrong and uncomfortable against your skin and doesn't bend right. Going back to the brand I know works!
This razor tore me up! I wanted to treat myself to something prettier for once. The first one worked alright but the plastic and rubber components fell apart fast, so I had to switch to the backup. That second razor absolutely shredded my legs. I was bleeding everywhere. Never seen a razor this bad in my life. Honestly scared to think of anyone else dealing with this product.
Have been using them for about eight months now. A buddy got me into Harry's products, which owns this brand, and I was impressed with the value for the cost. When I found out about this company I grabbed a subscription and tried their free sample. Shaving used to be frustrating and take forever because I'd constantly lose or break blades and have to remember to buy new ones which added up fast. This has made it way easier. Eight quality blades per shipment, and changing up the timing is simple with options for 2, 4 or 6 month intervals. The gel smells wonderful and goes a long way once you have the full size. Swapping blades is quick. You do have to be more careful than drugstore brands since the shave is so close, but that's actually a good thing. Each blade lasts longer too so I rotate between 4 and 6 month orders. Give the trial a shot, this brand has taken the stress out of shaving and made the whole thing better.
Really let down by this razor. I wanted it to work so badly, especially since the starter pack had an extra blade head included. I used it with the shaving cream three separate times. First go around I got about six little cuts across my legs and they were really irritated. Second time I went slow and gentle. No cuts but the irritation came back and it hurt to shave. Third and final time I was super careful, it still hurt, I got two more nicks, and the irritation got even worse. The discomfort is real too, like little raised spots that sting when anything touches them, even bedsheets or pants. I've had dull razors mess with my legs before but never a brand new sharp one. Worst razor I've used by far.
What can I even say. Used it once and seemed fine. Used a brand new blade the second time and it cut me really deep. Got a bad infection that almost got to sepsis level. Reached out to them and they didn't really care, just sent me some men's stuff from their sister brand and that was it. Terrible customer experience and I'm not coming back. Honestly lucky I didn't end up in the hospital.
