What Shoppers Say About Shopflamingo
Shopflamingo's razors have generated overwhelmingly negative feedback, with 18 shoppers rating the store 1.9 out of 5. The dominant complaint across reviews centers on severe skin irritation, including razor burn, ingrown hair bumps, folliculitis, and nicks that required dermatological treatment. Multiple reviewers report that the products caused reactions they had never experienced with other razor brands, with some noting the irritation persisted for weeks or longer. A few longer-term customers also report that the brand has reduced product quality in recent purchases, with replacement blades becoming noticeably smaller and less effective.
The small proportion of positive ratings (11 percent five-star and 17 percent four-star reviews) are insufficient to offset the severe safety and performance concerns documented by the majority of shoppers. No positive aspects of the razors are highlighted in the recent review excerpts available. The consistency and severity of reported skin damage suggest potential product defects or quality control issues that should be addressed before purchase consideration.

Sorted by: Most recentReally bummed about this razor. Wanted to get something that looked nicer so I splurged, but every single time I used it from the first stroke I got cuts and irritation. I used to buy men's Gillette, then switched to the budget option at Aldi, and now this was a huge mistake. Chose it for looks and regret it completely. Such a waste of my money and I'd never suggest it to anyone. Skip it.
INCREDIBLE! I've been using those Harry's razors for guys on my legs for years and loved them. When they came out with a women's version I jumped at it right away. Then I saw reviews saying it looked cheap and caused pulling and scratching so I thought maybe I could just cancel. Got my starter kit in like a day and tried it today. Those other reviews couldn't be further off. Before shaving I looked super hairy, but wow. I just used regular shower gel like always, no special shave gel, and had the smoothest, cut free shave I've had since I started shaving over four decades ago. Really worth trying these, I'm so glad I did.
I've gotten plenty of stuff from them over time including razors, shave gel, face and body wax strips. Used the first couple. The gel is seriously AMAZING! Super creamy, smooth and feels really nice. The razor does give a really close shave and I like the flexible head and how it feels in your hand. I notice it tugs a bit sometimes even with the gel, but honestly I'd rather have that knowing it's actually working. Some bigger name brands load on so much lubricant I can never tell if they're cutting or just sliding through! These ones feel effective without being rough. I've used so many razors with various issues, but this one's solid. Don't get fooled by the subscription though since they want you going through eight razors every six months which isn't realistic for most people. Haven't tried the wax strips yet, but I was really hoping they'd come with the calming solution since cheaper versions skip that part.
Don't get a close shave with these and they've given me way more razor burn than normal. My skin feels raw and burned after each shave! Going back to what I know works.
Can't speak much to the razors themselves, but the wax strips were simple to use and actually worked great. What really stood out was their customer support. I signed up for automatic shipments every four months, and my second order showed up with double the stuff for some reason and got charged fast. I was frustrated because I thought I was paying for a certain amount three times yearly, not triple that amount. But honestly, the team handled my call super fast when I reached out about getting my money back, and they took care of it right away. Really pleasant surprise!
Got this razor because the packaging looked so cute, and I really wish I hadn't. Opened it up and noticed the suction cup holder won't even stick to the shower wall properly. The razor's way too heavy for that flimsy plastic piece. Setting that aside, I got ready to shave my legs and the result was painful. Got serious razor burn on both legs, and I never usually get that plus normally use basic single or double blade razors. The supposed conditioning strip around the blade doesn't condition anything at all. It's basically cheap rubber dragging across your skin after it rips through your hair. Really bummed I spent the cash and would absolutely not tell anyone to buy this.
My order came super quick, about ten days. I grabbed the Head to Toe Wax Kit and the price point is fantastic at nineteen dollars, way better than random strips from the drugstore and obviously way less than a salon visit. I'd been going to European Wax but with everything closed I figured I'd give at home waxing a shot. The box is adorable and the instructions were really clear. Tried it out and the results were amazing, my underarms looked just as polished as when a professional does them. The soothing cloths that come in the package are incredible, they calm your skin right down and clean off all the waxy residue. The redness faded within an hour. Definitely getting more. I did the math and each underarm wax ends up costing around two dollars compared to twenty seven dollars with a tip at the salon! Absolutely worth buying again.
