What Shoppers Say About Snapfish
Snapfish is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 19 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Reviewers report significant issues including packages that never arrive, unresponsive customer service channels (described as automated systems), quality control problems such as damaged or defective items, and product quality that does not match advertised descriptions. One customer noted that a promotional blanket advertised as plush fleece arrived as thin felt material, while another received holiday cards with visible damage despite paying for expedited shipping. A small number of customers mention having used the service previously with acceptable results, suggesting quality may have declined.
Additional complaints include long shipping delays for orders, an aggressive account deletion policy that pressures customers to make purchases every 18 months or lose saved photos and projects, and missing features such as the inability to add Juneteenth as a holiday option to custom calendars. Shoppers consistently highlight the inability to reach human customer service representatives as a major frustration when issues arise. The overwhelming sentiment is that Snapfish is not recommended, with reviewers explicitly stating they would not order again.

Sorted by: Most recentI spent a lot of time uploading photos from an event and placed an order. The ordering system is straightforward and you'd have to really mess up to order the wrong pictures. I ordered many different photos in various sizes and was confused about why it was taking so long. Yesterday one item showed up and it was a photo of someone I lost three years ago. When I logged in to check on everything, I could see that my entire order worth 64 pounds contains nothing but that same photo repeated. I never even selected that image during checkout and I have screenshots to prove it. Why would anyone order six versions of the same 6 by 4 print? This is completely Snapfish's mistake but I can't reach anyone through chat or email and there's no phone line. These pictures were supposed to be gifts for people I care about for the holidays.
This is bad. They took my money and my package never showed up. There's no way to actually get in touch with anyone. Their chat system is just an automated program that sends out the same boring responses. I would never order from them again.
I wish there was a way to give zero stars because this was truly awful! Worst experience with customer service I've ever had! Be careful if you're thinking about ordering! I bought 40 holiday cards with expedited shipping and paid over 60 dollars! When they got here, one card at the bottom of the pile had a huge chunk missing from it! Any basic quality check would have caught that. Now Snapfish is saying as a one time favor, they'll give me credit toward future purchases! So not only do I not have the full order I purchased, but I get no money back either. It's ridiculous! Stay away from this place!!!
I bought what was advertised as a plush arctic fleece blanket with custom text. The text looks okay but the blanket itself is just thin felt material! It's RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED for what's basically just a thin piece of felt!
I've been ordering custom calendars from Snapfish for many years, but my latest experience left me really upset. When I was setting up my 2025 calendar, I realized that Juneteenth, which is a federal holiday, wasn't listed in their holiday options. I also couldn't find a way to add it manually even though all the other federal holidays were available and could be customized. I contacted Snapfish several times over the past two months and got no response at all. Their silence on this issue felt worse than the initial problem. As a Black customer, this feels hurtful and like I'm not welcome. Juneteenth has real meaning and importance to me, and leaving it out while including everything else, combined with them refusing to answer, comes across as really insensitive. When companies decide which holidays matter, the lack of response says a lot. I've been loyal for years and thought they were better than this. The least they could do is respond to customers and make things right.
I used to get prints from Snapfish and the quality was decent. But they sent me an email saying that if I don't make a purchase every 18 months they'll delete all my pictures and saved projects. That made me close my account because I don't like being pressured to buy things. I order when I actually need something, not because a company is threatening me. It feels like a scare tactic honestly.
Snapfish's way of handling addresses when you want to mail things is absolutely terrible. They have a feature to import addresses from a spreadsheet but the formatting rules are confusing and there's basically no help when something goes wrong. You just get a message saying something is wrong without any details about which part or row is the problem. There's no way to figure out what you did incorrect. It feels like they don't actually want you to mail cards and would rather you didn't use that part of their service at all.
This was the most frustrating experience ever. The customer service is terrible or basically non-existent. My order shipped on 12/5 and was supposed to arrive on 12/10, but it's now the 13th and I have no way to get in touch with anyone. When I check their website it says I don't have an order. The chat feature isn't actually a person, it's just a computer program. I will never shop here again or tell anyone else to. This is hands down the worst company I've dealt with.
Snapfish is not reliable at all. I spent a LOT of money on holiday cards and also paid a LOT extra to rush the shipping. They really messed up the order. I was told my rush shipment would get here on December 8th but it still wasn't even shipped by the 13th. I called them twice about it. The first person I talked to didn't do anything about it, and the second only gave me back the rush shipping cost. When you buy something and it arrives nowhere near when they promise, especially when you paid extra for faster delivery, you should get more than just the shipping refunded. I'm telling everyone not to use Snapfish. This whole thing was really disappointing. They've lost me as a customer for good.
I ordered a personalized puzzle that never arrived. I messaged their chat support and the representative placed a replacement order saying it would show up by December 10th. Neither puzzle has gotten here. The first one was ordered in mid-November and the second in early December but they're both stuck at the same point: the carrier created a shipping label but hasn't actually picked it up from Snapfish yet. Snapfish used to be reliable but things have definitely gotten worse. Also they don't have a phone number to call which makes things even harder. I was able to get a refund through my payment service since they have buyer protection, which is the only good thing. The shipping fees they charge are crazy high for what you get.
