Spongelle: Beyond Cleansing Reviews

It's been more than three weeks since I placed my order and still nothing. There's no way for me to get in touch with anyone at the company. They already charged over $100 to my card, and I have no updates on where my package is.

I put in a preorder for a diffuser back in April 2024 and paid for it then, but I still don't have it. They've promised it would arrive several times over, but we're already in September and it's still not here. My advice is to skip the preorder option entirely because this company doesn't follow through on their commitments.

I have four orders stuck in limbo right now. The tracking shows labels were created but the packages haven't actually been picked up by the carrier. I reached out to someone in their support team about it, but when they couldn't help me they just stopped responding to my messages. The products themselves are amazing, but good luck actually getting them delivered.

The spongelle products themselves are great, but the company's operations are a mess from where I'm sitting. I've made multiple purchases when it wasn't even holiday season, and both times it took over three weeks to receive anything. Plus both orders were short an item. It's just too frustrating to deal with to place another order.

I ordered something, got my confirmation email, and saw the charge on my card right away. The warehouse got it packed and out the door super fast, which was great. When it showed up though, two items were completely missing. The packing slip listed them, but the box was empty. I tried calling customer service but kept getting hung up on after waiting through several rings. Eventually I found the chat option on their site and got someone to respond. Turns out the warehouse didn't have proper inventory management and those items were sold out. Nobody let me know beforehand or offered to swap them for something else, which was a real problem since these were supposed to be Christmas presents. They mentioned their customer service team was swamped because of all the inventory issues. The actual products might be solid, but the company really dropped the ball on execution. They spent a lot on advertising but clearly couldn't handle the demand. Now I'm trying to sort out getting my money back, and I'm honestly hesitant about ordering from them again given everything that happened.

I placed my order on November 24 and it still hasn't shipped. I've tried getting help from their customer service through email, their social media pages, and by phone with no luck. Looking at their social media comments, I'm seeing tons of other people dealing with the exact same shipping problem.

Their customer service is really frustrating. I bought some things in November to give as gifts, and two weeks later there was still no sign of them being sent out. I tried reaching out multiple ways through messages and phone, but their responses were completely inadequate. I have no idea when my order will arrive and I can't seem to get them to let me cancel and receive a refund.

A friend gave me a spongelle gift a couple years back and I really liked it, so I decided to place an order through their app to send to my family as Christmas presents. I put in a pretty big order back in November, but only some of it showed up. When I contacted their support team, they basically just sent me links to tracking information I'd already checked myself. According to those tracking sites, my items were supposedly delivered, but that wasn't true at all. I've got security camera footage that confirms they never arrived. The rest of my order finally got here around mid January, but since most of it had holiday designs for Christmas gifts, it's way past when I needed it. Now everything's just sitting on my counter unused.

I ordered a Christmas gift for my sister back in November, well ahead of the delivery timeframe they advertised. By the middle of December the item still hadn't come in. I tried using their chat feature to have it rerouted and someone told me they'd get back to me about delivery options. They never did. I contacted them again through chat and was promised it would arrive at my sister's place and that someone would be in touch. Still no follow up, and the package ended up showing up at my house instead. It's just another example of their lack of attention to what customers need.

Something got added to my cart that I never chose. When I received my order, I was stuck with an extra item I didn't want. Now they're telling me I have to cover the shipping cost to send it back. The customer service experience was really disappointing.
