Print Innovations Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Print Innovations
Print Innovations, which operates through swingdesign.com, has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from customers. The vast majority of reviewers report serious issues including significant shipping delays (orders taking weeks longer than promised), damaged products arriving in poor condition, and unresponsive or unhelpful customer service. Customers report particular frustration with the return and warranty policies, describing them as restrictive and unhelpful even for high-value purchases in the thousands of dollars. Several reviewers describe receiving defective equipment that failed shortly after purchase, with warranty claims being denied.
A small minority of customers have had positive experiences, citing good packaging, reasonable delivery times, and responsive customer service representatives who went above and beyond to help. However, these positive experiences are substantially outnumbered by complaints about dishonesty, disrespect toward customers, damaged shipments, and an overall lack of support for merchandise after purchase. Reviewers consistently advise potential buyers to avoid the company, particularly for large orders.

Sorted by: Most recentThis company basically robbed me of $250. I ordered a silhouette portrait 4 bundle from a retailer using Swing Design and the package never arrived. When I asked for proof of delivery, they refused to provide it. They made claims about several delivery attempts but UPS only shows one actual attempt. When I pushed back, their suggestion was just to file a police report. I really dislike this company and I'd warn anyone against buying through them. If your order doesn't show up, you're basically out of luck. I've been going back and forth on this issue since November and we're almost at the end of January.
Look elsewhere for your purchases. I'm incredibly frustrated with how Swing Design handled my customer service experience. I placed a BN20 set order during a promotion, expecting it to arrive in multiple shipments. When the graphtec cutter showed up while I was traveling for the holidays, nobody was home to accept it, and it got returned. Rather than work with me, customer service just cancelled the entire order and issued a refund. That wouldn't bother me so much if the price hadn't jumped $1500 since then. I emailed them to contest the cancellation and got a response that completely missed the mark. When I called, I felt like I was talking to a wall. I even told them I'd be happy to pay for reshipping. Apparently Roland stopped running that promotion, so Swing Design claims they have to absorb the loss on units they oversold. That's their problem, not mine. What really bothers me is that customer service cancelled my order without even asking me first, and now it's going to cost me significantly more. Swing Design offered absolutely nothing to make this right.
This is a scam outfit. Avoid them at all costs. I spent $2000 on a machine that doesn't work. There's zero support, no returns, no exchanges. Straight up fraud.
Stay away from this vendor. I heard the Sawgrass 1000 was a quality sublimation printer, so I ordered one here for over $1600. It came quickly enough, but when I tried to set it up, I couldn't register with the print mate software and kept getting an error message. I spent two entire days and multiple hours trying to fix it. On the second day I called Swing Design tech support. They said I'd have to contact Sawgrass directly and that I couldn't return the useless piece of junk. On top of that, the ink gets depleted during the initial setup, which forces you to buy their cartridges that cost $300 to $400 or more. Watch out as a buyer.
Had a really rough time with this company. I got a printer four months back and it quit working. The tech keeps saying I probably need a new printhead, and the thing isn't even a year old yet. It seems unfair that I'd have to pay for replacement parts on something that should still be functioning. UPDATE: Turns out the printer was defective from the start, but now they want me to purchase parts instead of helping. The tech support person keeps repeating the same troubleshooting steps over and over without any real progress. What's even worse is how they manage their reviews. They're not posting the negative feedback, only showing the five-star ones. I left a review where I tried to be reasonable and gave three stars hoping things would improve, then later changed it to one star when nothing got better. But that updated review never appeared. All anyone sees are glowing reviews that make this company look legitimate, but they're being deceptive by hiding the truth.
Swing Design sold me fake sg1000 cartridges and labeled them as authentic Sawgrass products. Don't buy from them. When I scanned the QR code, it indicated they're counterfeit. Once I installed them in the machine, the system flagged them as unauthorized and warned that my warranty would be voided.
I ordered some ink, they took my payment, and then nothing happened. After a week with no movement, I sent an email asking for an update. The next morning I got a response from someone named Krista saying the kit couldn't be ordered by itself and I needed to buy the ink separately. But here's the thing: they had already taken my money for seven days without doing anything. They only cancelled the order after I reached out asking for a status on something I'd already paid for a week before. Not a good experience at all.
Be cautious with pre-orders and watch out for poor customer service and lack of transparency. I asked for a status update on my order and was told my item was sitting in the warehouse going through inspection and would be shipped out soon. When I followed up with another email, suddenly I'm hearing the item never even arrived and there's a delay. I called them out on the contradictory information from the previous email, and they just said they got a different model in and are shipping those instead. Then they completely ignored my second email and only responded to the first one. This whole thing has been annoying, especially since another customer already got and reviewed the same exact item. Fingers crossed the substitute item doesn't turn into another ordeal.
