Spent around $1000 on a professional meat slicer and it actually looks fantastic when it arrived. But after using it for three years, the power button completely quit working. I reached out to their customer service team back in March and they just sent me to some local authorized repair shop even though I'm in a major city. After months of back and forth trying to get this resolved, they offered zero help. Now I've got this expensive thousand dollar slicer taking up a huge chunk of my kitchen counter and it's basically a paperweight thanks to one cheap plastic component. Bottom line: the build quality is mediocre and the support after purchase is nonexistent. You think you're doing the right thing by buying something made in Europe instead of cheap knockoffs, but somehow you end up with something that works just as poorly as the garbage options from overseas.
