What Shoppers Say About Waatr
Waatr is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 13 shoppers, with all reviews giving one star. Customers report significant quality and durability issues with the product line, particularly premium caps and bottles that fail within weeks to months of purchase. Multiple reviewers cite non-functional charging ports and batteries that no longer hold a charge well before expected product lifespan, with several reporting the product stopped working after only a few weeks of use.
The most serious complaints involve customer service and company accountability. Shoppers consistently report receiving no response to emails and support requests when seeking help with defective products. Several reviewers mention refusal to cover return shipping costs and difficulty obtaining warranty replacements. Additionally, multiple backers reference historical issues with Kickstarter campaign fulfillment, allegations of fraud, company dissolution to avoid accountability, and requests for additional payments beyond initial pledges. Current customers advise against purchasing from this brand due to the combination of product failures and lack of responsive support.

Sorted by: Most recentThis is a scam, plain and simple. That's really all that needs to be said about Waatr. Stay far away from anything connected to their name, whether it's on crowdfunding sites or anywhere else. I backed a project and got nothing except excuses about delays. They should honestly rename their operation Dr. Thief because that's what this whole thing amounts to - stealing from everyday people and getting away with it.
I'm another crowdfunding backer sitting here waiting for two bottles and replacement filters that never came. Reached out through their website when they weren't responding on the funding platform and still haven't gotten any acknowledgment.
The way this company treats their crowdfunding backers is awful. Both their crowdfunding campaigns have barely communicated with the people who funded them. Now they're openly selling the same products online with a two week turnaround, meanwhile people who actually financed the project still haven't gotten theirs after a year. The owner ghosting everyone and only giving sparse updates when the platforms push them to is completely unacceptable.
