Picked up two of their premium caps and took them traveling. They worked fine for about five months, then on the next trip neither one would hold a charge. Less than a year of ownership and both are dead. I've reached out repeatedly but haven't heard anything back. Even tried going through the retailer for a warranty replacement, but they're not getting responses either from the manufacturer. This is a product you should avoid.

When I finally did get responses from their team, they were useless - just copy and paste stuff about looking into it. I reached out to their main site again and all they do is pass the buck to another team. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Both their official team and their other team are equally unhelpful. It's been four months of going in circles trying to either get what I paid for or my money back.

The idea seemed solid and they kept sending updates, but then stopped talking to anyone after the end of last year. Trying to reach them on their various sites gets ignored. When I messaged both their pages today I got quick replies, but they just keep pointing me in circles. One site tells me to try the other, but when I do that there's radio silence while their main site where they're openly selling stuff gets instant responses. So we're the ones who helped get this off the ground and this is how we get treated. Time to contact my credit card company for help.

This is a scam, plain and simple. That's really all that needs to be said about Waatr. Stay far away from anything connected to their name, whether it's on crowdfunding sites or anywhere else. I backed a project and got nothing except excuses about delays. They should honestly rename their operation Dr. Thief because that's what this whole thing amounts to - stealing from everyday people and getting away with it.

The way this company treats their crowdfunding backers is awful. Both their crowdfunding campaigns have barely communicated with the people who funded them. Now they're openly selling the same products online with a two week turnaround, meanwhile people who actually financed the project still haven't gotten theirs after a year. The owner ghosting everyone and only giving sparse updates when the platforms push them to is completely unacceptable.
