I grabbed what seemed like an amazing deal through a promotions site, but then found a surprise $55 shipping charge when I checked out on their site. My total came to $120 for 20 bottles, which wasn't terrible. Problem was my order never arrived. Turns out nobody was home for delivery, it got sent back, and apparently got damaged in the process. They wanted me to pay another fee just to have it reshipped. A refund seemed possible, but they wanted to deduct $82, which didn't make sense to me. Later they said refunds weren't an option and told me to contact the promotions site instead. I tried reaching out to them, but they couldn't help since my voucher had already been applied.
I'd give them a negative star if possible. After spending forty bucks, I asked why my order was taking so long to ship and someone named Nick treated me disrespectfully and insulted me. That's unacceptable. Never received my order but did manage to get my money back through a dispute. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere, because if you complain about delays or problems with their service, you'll get called names instead of actual help.
I've bought from this place roughly ten times over the last four years and told lots of people about them because their wine selection is solid. Normally I grab a case every half year or so. Called customer service after getting another shipment of 15 bottles just four weeks after buying 15 more, and I got a pretty rude response from someone on their team. They basically said take it or pay to send it back. Turns out they have an automatic monthly subscription policy now that wasn't made clear to me. The attitude I got was dismissive. Can't recommend them anymore, there are other options with better deals out there.
