I ordered a gold bracelet and when I got the package, it felt more like copper than anything else. I've been shopping here for years and this is seriously the worst experience I've ever had. I'm convinced it wasn't authentic gold or diamonds and I won't be coming back.

So my husband gave me a stunning 3 carat mined diamond tennis bracelet in 14K gold. Less than three months later, the thing basically fell apart when one of the links separated. Lucky for me, I spotted it on the floor. I called Ross Simons and they immediately promised to handle it. They arranged a UPS pickup for repairs. After about three weeks, I got the fixed bracelet back. Within thirty minutes of putting it on at home, that same link broke apart again. I called right away and now they're saying they shouldn't have fixed it in the first place and I should have filed a claim with my extended warranty. The warranty company says I need to file an online claim and then they'll take their time deciding whether to cover it. I'm stuck waiting two to five days for them to decide if they'll even help. When I spoke with a supervisor, they basically said there's nothing they can do and it's between me and the warranty company. I spent almost three thousand dollars and got terrible service. This looks like it could be a manufacturing issue, which might explain why they don't sell this model anymore. I'm really worried that another repair attempt will just break it the same way and I could lose it altogether.

My husband got me two rings as Christmas gifts last year. One had topaz and a pearl. Just recently I noticed the pearl starting to loosen on its post, and then it fell right off. I quickly realized this wasn't a genuine pearl. The coating on fake pearls was visibly flaking away, and it had that smooth feel instead of the gritty texture of real pearls. I reached out to customer service asking about a refund, but they refused because more than 30 days had passed since I got it. Apparently my fake pearl didn't have the courtesy to fall off within the return window. Now my only option is to send it back for them to just glue the fake pearl back on. This whole situation made me question whether other stones in their pieces are real, so I decided to return a diamond ring that was another special Christmas present. I'm stuck keeping another ring from that same year, but now I'm worried about whether its stones are authentic either. To make things worse, small stones have already started falling out of that one too.

I've bought several items from here before, but this latest order looked like the quality had gone down. The previous one seemed that way too, but I figured I'd give it one more shot. If you changed suppliers or something, you might want to switch back to how things were.

I was really let down by how small the gemstones turned out to be on these earrings. The pictures and details online made them look significantly larger than they actually are. I seriously considered sending them back. That said, I'm giving three stars because the gold-over-silver finish has a really nice appearance and the proportions work well together.
