- The code may be region or location-specific, so ensure your rental location qualifies.
Salt Lake Express Savings Hacks
Salt Lake Express offers rotate through affiliate programs periodically. Visit the top of this page often to see what deals are currently live, rather than assuming old codes still work.
Some promotions apply to specific trip lengths or seasons. Adjusting your travel dates slightly may unlock a better discount or make you eligible for an offer you initially missed.
Rental deals can have limited availability or expiration windows. When you find a code that fits your plans, apply it promptly rather than waiting.
Promotional codes sometimes exclude premium or specialty vehicles. If a code does not apply to your selected car type, try a standard class vehicle to see if the discount activates.
Salt Lake Express Shipping Policy
Car rental is a service category, so traditional shipping does not apply. Instead, you will pick up your vehicle at your chosen location on your rental start date and return it at the agreed-upon time and place.
Salt Lake Express Returns & Refund Policy
Since car rentals are service agreements, return or cancellation policies depend on the specific terms of your reservation. Check Salt Lake Express's cancellation policy during checkout for details on refund eligibility and any penalties associated with changes or early returns.

Salt Lake Express Reviews
Salt Lake Express receives sharply divided feedback, with shoppers split between those who had positive experiences and those who encountered significant problems. Satisfied customers praise friendly, punctual drivers and highlight pleasant group interactions during their trips. However, a substantial portion of reviewers report serious issues including misleading marketing about vehicle types (expecting full-size coaches but receiving cramped minivans), lack of advertised amenities like WiFi and bathrooms, unprofessional staff behavior, disability accommodation refusals, and poor driver attitudes toward passengers.
The most common complaints center on unmet expectations regarding vehicle comfort and features, combined with concerns about customer service quality and how passengers are treated. Some reviewers report feeling scammed or harassed, particularly regarding refunds and accessibility accommodations. The polarized rating distribution suggests inconsistent service experiences across different trips and staff members.
We got tickets for a round trip from Provo to Las Vegas thinking we'd be on a full sized coach bus like advertised, with nice seating, WiFi, and a bathroom. Instead we got squeezed into a cramped minivan that's uncomfortable and loud with awful road vibration. No comfort, no WiFi, no restroom. This is seriously misleading marketing because everything I saw about the service showed a big coach style bus with all those amenities. I've cancelled my return trip because of this.
I was really disappointed with the unprofessional behavior and poor service. About a week before my trip, I booked a one-way ticket from St George to Mesquite for a Saturday afternoon at 2:10 pm. I arrived 25 minutes early and checked in with the front staff. The two employees seemed scattered and kept going back and forth about details. They said I was checked in and should just wait for my ride. At 2:20 pm, I went back up front to confirm they hadn't forgotten about me. They then told me the van had been cancelled. Are you kidding me? Why didn't you tell me this when I checked in? They said they'd tried calling the day before, but I never missed a call and my voicemail wasn't full. That claim doesn't add up. Someone who looked like a manager, maybe Jamie, was unhelpful and just said they could refund me. No solutions offered or any real help. Someone had to come pick me up from Mesquite and take me to my event that was supposed to leave at 2 pm.
The shuttle was right on schedule and the driver was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely would suggest it to others!
Chelsea, our driver, was fantastic. The four other ladies on the ride were wonderful too. Everyone pitched in and made the trip to the airport a great group experience.
Salt Lake Express really let me down by refusing a basic accommodation for my disability. They're not just unhelpful, they're harsh and took money from me that shouldn't have been taken, and it happened twice. I feel like I got scammed and treated unfairly by them. I tried to work with them, but got tired of fighting because they simply won't issue refunds even when they should, like that girl who slept at the station overnight and they refused to give back just 27 dollars. How they've operated like this across multiple western states for so long is beyond me. If anyone reading this has also had issues with this company, please reach out. We're building grassroots awareness at no cost to you, and some people affected may receive compensation. Salt Lake Express operates in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Washington, and Nevada.
The driver had a bad attitude and treated us poorly. He spoke down to all of us like we ride this shuttle constantly, as if we didn't know what we were doing.
I purchased a package ticket from Ogden to Monticello using a company credit. When departure day came, the shuttle showed up over an hour behind schedule and they couldn't keep the Greyhound connection at the airport. After several calls, they said they'd refund me, but I had to get a ride instead. Now the company won't honor that refund even though they admit on their website that they couldn't maintain the schedule that day. I really want to support public transit, but I can't with this kind of experience. This company clearly has scheduling problems and their customer service team needs to handle refunds properly. I wish I'd looked at other people's feedback before buying my ticket.
I took a ride from Logan to Salt Lake Airport and returned four days later. Joey got me picked up right on time, was friendly, and moved things along. He even gave me helpful details about where to get picked up in Logan. I remember a different driver on a trip the year before who ran late and somehow missed the Brigham City stop, which meant backtracking and losing time. Compared to that, Joey's service was flawless.
Our driver was really attentive and kept an eye on what everyone needed during the trip. He drove efficiently and got us to the Las Vegas airport way ahead of schedule.
Thanks so much to Tony for your outstanding work in payroll. Your ability to dig into and solve payroll problems is really impressive, and your careful attention to everything is just great!
Scot M. was an exceptional driver. It would be great if all your drivers put in as much effort as he does.
Had a fantastic experience overall. Michael was a really great driver. We had someone driving recklessly trying to pass us, and he handled the whole thing with poise. The shuttle was spotless and really comfortable. I felt so at ease and enjoyed every minute of the ride. I've taken this shuttle before and plan to use it again.
I'm 72 and booked a trip from Pahrump, Nevada to Salt Lake City for Labor Day evening at 9:50 PM. I started waiting around 9:30 PM, and the van didn't show until 11:20 PM. Nobody called to tell me about the delay because of what they said were van problems. When it arrived, they told me my seat got given away, but said no problem, we can get you on the next shuttle tomorrow. So there I am, 72 years old at midnight, and I'm supposed to just wait a full day. SALT LAKE EXPRESS DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PASSENGERS. Maybe they should actually read those materials they pass out at their Rexburg stop.
Great experience with this company. They're easy to work with and their service is dependable!
The driver completely skipped picking us up. Another passenger told me this location gets missed a lot and suggested calling the company. When I did, they acknowledged the driver forgot our stop. The only option they gave was the next shuttle two and a half hours later, which would've made us miss our flight. When I pushed them to help, like arranging a prepaid ride, they refused. The representative even said something really unprofessional. We had to call friends to drive us 80 miles to the airport. They refunded my fare and gave me a $40 credit, but when I asked for my return trip refunded and offered a free ride back, they said no. For a company advertising reliability, the customer service is seriously lacking.
