Tillys’s Return Policy

Tillys accepts returns within 30 days of the order or store purchase date; you’ll need your receipt and items must be unused, in original packaging, with tags attached (shoeboxes shouldn’t have tape or shipping labels).

Shipping fees are non-refundable, and some items (jewelry, underwear, cosmetics, candy, clearance) are final sale. Online orders cannot be exchanged; you’ll have to return the item and place a new order, or visit a Tillys store to exchange in person.

DON'T BUY ON TILLYS

Yesterday I bought G-Shock watch on Tillys, my money was withdrawn from my bank card, but on the website at the same time I saw an error that 'some error happened' and no order was present in the history and my account of Tillys. They do not respond to my email. They are thieves.

Don’t order anything near holidays

Said things would ship and arrive before Christmas and now we have been hit with “unexpected delays”. We ordered 2 weeks before and now who knows when items will arrive, they have no clue either…. If you can’t pick it up in store don’t bother.

Never Shop with them

My package was stolen and I provided proof. They wouldn’t offer a refund or a replacement. Told me to file a police report. No help at all. Most major companies will at least offer a replacement or a refund will never shop with this company again.

Tillys steal your money

At this point in time this company, Tillys, has $594 of my money and I have nothing to show for it!! They charged my Visa for three transactions that on my end of their website said "could not be completed" . They charged the amounts anyway and now I cannot get in contact with anyone. They do not return emails, they do not answer their Customer Service line, or call back. If you try and deal with the issue in store, they play dumb! Which they clearly are. ABSOLUTELY appalling business model. DO NOT use this company. They are hopeless and have no idea of customer service and making things right. Police action is my next step. They are thieves.

They cancelled my order right before Christmas

I ordered my son a lot of stuff from Tillys for Christmas and they just all of a sudden cancelled my entire order. They said they emailed me to call to verify info, but they never sent a single email. Now I'm having to rush to find Christmas for him. Never, EVER deal with this company.

Rude customer service representative

Rude customer service representative, Alyssa. The information they give you online for delivery is inaccurate, so I assumed package was lost or stolen based on the information Tilly's gives the customer. Alyssa was snippy via the chat and curt.

This company will rip you off!

This company will rip you off. I ordered a watch online. They use average joes for delivery service like door dash. My item was supposed to to arrive on Friday 11/28/25. Average guy marks his delivery on Thanksgiving day 11/27/25 Conveniently for him no one was there to receive the package. He takes a pic of the delivery on my porch, but lo and behold there is no package. I complained to customer service about not receiving my package and they say we a photo of it on my property. No refund, and I have to buy another gift for Christmas. Absolutely horrible service. Zumiez uses fed ex and updates you on delivery. TILLYS will take your money with no remorse. Who delivers on holidays? Crooked thieves.

Manufacturing error

My clothing item arrived with one side not sewn properly. It makes the piece difficult to wear without having it altered. The website also prevents me from leaving a review because of a ‘technical’ error.

Ordered something online and never got it

Ordered something online and the package was delivered and I called saying I didn't get the package but because fedex said it was delivered there was nothing they could do.But my argument was i live a in an apartment complex and the proof fedex provided had no apartment number or anything just a corner of a door

What has happened ex to customer service??

TILLYS, Encinitas, CA. I’m only rating 3 stars bc of 3 amazing girls! One of the girls, Emma, that was “helping” my son & I was so rude & should not be in customer service. I work customer service so I know I’m extra polite & sensitive to those with that job title bc I’m well aware of how rude & entitled people can be. I asked her if they had a certain shirt in a different size & she said no, I asked her same question about pants she said no. My son & I continued to walk through the store & I found both items in the size we were looking for. I kindly let her know that I found both items in the size we were looking for & all she said was “cool” with an ugly look on her face & turned around to put clothes on hangers. The 3 other girls, Jonelle, Mattea, & one other (unfortunately didn’t get her name) were absolutely wonderful. I think they were aware of the situation bc I saw one of them talk to Emma & it was pretty clear Emma was complaining about me. Like I said,I work customer service. I work at Trader Joe’s down the street from TILLYS so I totally understand how rude people can be & I pride myself on being patient & really friendly. It sucks bc individuals like Emma kinda ruin it for everyone. I do not write reviews unless they’re positive but this girl just came across bitter & definitely working in the wrong field. Besides this experience, I’ve never had a bad one at TILLYS. I’m so tired of being a customer & feeling like I’m a horrible person for asking a question to an employee. Jonelle & Mattea & the other gal are the reason I’d come back. :)
