Urcdkeys Reviews
Urcdkeys has a very low rating of 2.3 out of 5 from 21 shoppers, with a sharp divide in customer experiences. The small percentage of satisfied customers report that keys occasionally work as intended. However, the overwhelming majority of reviewers report non-functional product keys, delivery problems, and inadequate customer support. Common complaints include activation codes that fail to work on second installations or on multiple machines, misleading product descriptions regarding key limitations and expiration, delayed or missing product delivery, and unresponsive support staff who dismiss customer issues without resolution.
Reviewers consistently describe their experiences with Urcdkeys as unreliable and frustrating. Multiple shoppers report purchasing Windows 10 Pro and Office 365 keys that either fail to activate entirely or stop working after initial use. Many customers indicate they received little help when attempting to contact support, with representatives either providing unhelpful explanations or ceasing communication altogether. Several reviewers explicitly characterize the business as a scam and recommend others avoid the retailer entirely.
Got a 2-license Windows 10 Pro package from this place. First machine worked fine, but the second computer rejected the activation code completely. When I reached out to their support team, they were unhelpful and dismissive, and then just quit responding to me. No emails back either. Nobody told me upfront or afterwards that these keys had an expiration window. This whole operation feels intentionally deceptive, like they're designed to pull a fast one on buyers.
Purchased a Windows 10 Pro key. Website said it would ship within about 10 minutes. A whole day goes by and I'm checking my inbox. Got an email with something about a product code, clicked the link and it just sent me back to an empty inbox. Bottom line: skip this place, it's a scam.
Bought three Windows 10 keys labeled as genuine since I was building computers for family. All three refused to work when I tried them. The support rep gave me silly explanations and then stopped talking to me entirely. Here's what the chat showed: They told me the keys only activate once, so if you reinstall Windows they become worthless. Said the products activate once and keep working forever, but you can't reinstall. Warned that formatting or swapping hardware would kill the key and I'd need to buy again. But I never even used these before today. I had them saved safely on my account and nobody touched them. I got them specifically for the PCs I was planning to build, but that got delayed due to pandemic supply issues. When I finally tried using them months later they just didn't work.
Purchased what was supposed to be a lifetime Office 365 key for five machines. My login doesn't function and it's asking for an admin to activate the license. That's the shortest lifetime subscription I've ever seen. My credentials won't even work. Need a refund immediately.
Bought a Windows 10 Pro key that was completely broken. The rep I talked to was rude and basically said they'd refund me whenever they get around to it. Only $20 but seriously, steer clear of this company.
Grabbed a Windows 10 Home key. During checkout the system said my credit card got declined, but somehow the payment still went through and I never got the code.
I've ordered several keys here and most worked out okay. But then I grabbed an Office 2019 key and held off on using it. When I finally went to activate it, the system said it was already registered by someone else. Tried getting ahold of customer support multiple times over several days but haven't heard back.
This place is a total scam. Go with G2A if you want affordable software instead. I'm not trying to hang around waiting several days for someone to answer me. I just need my money back.
The keys I got wouldn't work at all. Their automated customer support claimed my activation failed because I wasn't online. Meanwhile I'm literally chatting with them on the internet right now. Plenty of better places to buy from, these people are straight-up con artists.
Bought a code for Microsoft Office Professional 2013 but it wouldn't activate on Microsoft's website for downloading. Sent an email to the site and got radio silence. Tried their live chat multiple times over several days with nobody ever picking up. Really feels like fraud.UPDATE: Just like tons of other reviews here, you might get a response from a different company asking you to grab an ISO file from a link they send. Red flags! The file should come straight from the official source, Microsoft in this case. Looks like a classic phishing operation.
UPDATE: They provided a replacement account the very next day after posting, doesn't totally restore my confidence but I'm willing to shop here again.Ordered one Windows 10 Pro OEM key and an Office 365 subscription for multiple devices. The Windows 10 worked perfectly but the Office 365 was a nightmare and I paid around $27 for it.I changed the password and saved both versions. Then I couldn't log back in. Only managed one successful login, and now the new password doesn't work either. Used it on just one device at first, problem showed up when trying to connect it to another device. Can't reset the password since Microsoft says I need the account admin to handle it. Either help me sort out this purchase or send back the $27 I spent. Had zero issues with the Windows 10 Pro license.
UPDATE: Got a replacement account within a day of leaving this, so my trust improved a little and I'll probably buy again without hesitation.I grabbed a Windows 10 Pro OEM key plus an Office 365 account good for 5 devices. The Windows key worked great but the Office 365 gave me major headaches and cost me around $27.I reset the password on that account and backed up both the old and new ones. But then I couldn't get back in anymore. Only logged in successfully one time, and now my own password won't work. Set it up on just one device initially, and issues started when I tried signing in on my other machine.I can't reset the password again because Microsoft needs the account administrator to do it. I need them to help with this purchase or just give me my $27 back. The Windows 10 Pro key worked without any problems.
Got Office 2019 Pro on November 29, 2019. Tried to activate it and it failed. Emailed their service team but nobody gets back to me. Want to work this out since I spent $53 on it and have the credit card proof. Hoping they'll reach back out.FOLLOW UP: After posting this urcdkeys did contact me and I'm happy with the resolution. Changed my rating to average because they did give me a working key eventually. They asked me to take down the review though which is disappointing. For now the key works and we'll see if it lasts a full year.
