I've been taking Vamoose between DC and NYC roughly 3 to 5 times annually for over 10 years with zero complaints. The coaches are immaculate, including the bathrooms which are exceptionally clean. Staff members are always professional, and the drivers are safe and skilled. Buses depart punctually, and if boarding finishes early, they may leave a few minutes ahead. The wifi works on nearly all of my trips except one. Most rides are non-stop and take 4.5 hours, though occasionally drivers will pause briefly to attend to personal needs, which is completely understandable. The DC area pickup spots are conveniently positioned near the metro and breakfast/lunch options.
Great first experience overall. The bus heading to New York was smaller than anticipated, while the return bus was larger. Both were clean and the drivers performed very well. The biggest inconvenience at the Virginia location is the lack of clear boarding procedures - there's no staff available until the bus arrives. In contrast, the New York stop has attendants present early who help guide the line. The onboard facilities met expectations. Timing was fairly accurate both directions. A solid and budget-friendly travel option.

Vamoose is fantastic. Changing your schedule or rescheduling multiple times is no problem at all. I've never experienced any issues with the service or the people working there in either city. If I arrive early at my stop, I can often grab an earlier bus if seats are open. I recommend this company to all my friends. You're doing great, so don't mess with what's working.

The rest of the service is genuinely top-notch - always punctual, professional drivers, well-maintained buses, affordable pricing, and an easy-to-use website with great customer support. But when it's nice weather outside, why do we need jackets inside the bus like it's the middle of winter?

I've taken well over half a dozen round trips from Northern Virginia to New York this year, and every one has been on schedule with fantastic service. I do have a request though - could you implement a phone call policy? Maybe allow calls only during the first and last 15 minutes of the ride. After that, passengers should be limited to texting. There's always someone making long calls, occasionally holding entire business meetings, which disrupts other passengers. This change would be appreciated by all riders and would really set you apart from other carriers.
