I used to love vans shoes

I used to love vans shoes. They would last forever ever since I was a kid my first pair loved him since then that's all I wear as many of us have but in the recent years the quality has gone horribly downhill now that you guys are outsourcing shoes that would last at least five years minimum ripped within six months terrible quality and now the one good thing was the cloud comfort the insoles the cushion which are the best cushions I've ever felt in shoes you guys are now getting rid of those I don't know who owns vans now who is doing the controlling of the quality and the production they need to be fired. You guys need to revamp the quality needs to get back to where it was whoever is doing this you guys need to have a real look at what they want for the company in the future of the company.

I placed an order on the 27th of…

I placed an order on the 27th of November 2025,the delivery service was horrible as it took time. I had to constantly call and follow up on my order,just when I received my order on the 8th of December. They delivered an incorrect size,when I lodged a complaint about that they were not empathetic and told me they'll refund me. I then asked them why resort to refund instead of trying to get the correct size, it's now almost month with the back and forth with them. They had the parcel collected for refund process and it has been inspected since forever ,it's now the 25th of December 2025 and I haven't received my money back. They have the parcel with them and I have been calling in and sending emails they are not of any help. Their online services is the worst, I have dealt with Tasneem and Mabasa in this query but it hasn't been resolved. All I want is my money and not further interactions with them,they keep saying they are awaiting confirmation for the refund,they are crooks because they have the item at the warehouse,all they need to do is process the refund. I warn you that Do not order anything from Vans South Africa, very incompetent,and horrible service. I want my money back.

Embarrassing Customer Service.

Ordered a pair of custom vans for a Christmas present for my daughter on the 9th October. Payment pended for 7 days. Contacted vans every week from week 5 who assured me they would be here and payment would be taken at the point of shipping. Got to week 8 to be told they had not been ordered as payment had expired. Offered a 30% discount by a supervisor who you can’t get to speak to and it’s now 2.5 weeks later and still no voucher has been emailed to me. Apparently now with the admin team waiting approval. No customer service with this company. They don’t care about the service they offer. Not surprised the CEO doesn’t accept emails. He obviously doesn’t give a damn that he’s ruined my daughter Christmas either. Would not recommend vans to anyone! Ever.

Deceptive company

Ordered cow pattern sneakers that my son wanted for Christmas and the website said will arrive 12/22 if ordered in the next 12 hours. It is 12/23 and they weren’t shipped. We called and can’t speak to a person, only a computer. Were told those are custom and take 3-5 weeks to ship and the order can’t be canceled and they can’t be returned either

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Tried to place an order for about 4 days and the payment method never goes through. Tried chat and calling, each time talking to stoners that couldn't care less about helping me, trying to blame my CC company even though I confirmed there were no issues with my card. These shoes are supposed to be a gift, otherwise I would never bother with Vans again,

This was my first time ordering shoes…

This was my first time ordering shoes from the Vans website, and unfortunately it has been an extremely disappointing experience. None of the shoes I ordered fit, so I returned them on 11/26/25. As of 12/17/25, the return has still not been received and my $190 refund has not been issued.This is by far the worst return experience I have ever had. For comparison, I recently ordered shoes from LEMS and received my refund immediately after returning them. The lack of communication and delay from Vans is unacceptable.Because of this experience, I will never order from Vans again, and I will be sure to share my experience with friends and family.

Realized my shipping address taken from…

Realized my shipping address taken from Paypal was old and reached out to the company directly after noticing. No response from them for 2 days. I literally called the courier MYSELF to change the address, which they did, no problem. Van's cs responded with "we’re unable to modify the shipping address for your order, as the requested update is considered a major change." Total lazy customer service.

Refused to change shipping information

Ordered shoes online for the kpop demon hunters drop. The website kept glitching and they didn’t do the smart thing by setting up a queue or limiting the amount you could buy. I finally got to checkout after the website kept glitching for an hour. Everything was correct in the cart and my shipping and billing address were correct until I checked out and receive the confirmation email reflecting that my billing and shipping information is incorrect and that they’re shipping my shoes to an address in a different state that I lived at 5 years ago. Vans tells me the only thing they can do is request a return to sender and refund me my order. I requested them to call ontrac (the shipping company they were using) and ask them to change the shipping address because ontrac can change it but need shipper approval and Vans refused to call ontrac and make things right by changing the address. I’m done with this company and will never purchase another item from them ever again.

Terrible delivery and resolution process

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes in the sale. Delivery (Yodel) failed to deliver to the pick up spot. No explanation as to why it failed as it was an open shop in the early afternoon. Parcel was sent back to Vans. After contacting them for a redelivery I was told that isn't an option. I have to get a refund for this transaction (and wait 7-10 days to get my money back) and buy the shoes again. Can't understand why I couldn't have them redelivered. I was offered the same price as the sale shoes if the prices had changed but the shoes weren't available in my size any more. Complete waste of time and money. Never using them again

What a joke this company has become

What a joke this company has become! You offer for sale the k pop kids shoes but before anyone can buy them the scalpers bought them all up and crashed your website!I had in cart two pairs for my grand kids went to check using PayPal. Got to the end of the sale and its never finished processing the vans symbol and the wheel just kept spinning with never finishing the sale! So you let the scammers/scalpers take over your website just so they can resale the shoes on eBay for $300 I guess money lost on your end! What a sorry company you have become, never again will I support your company sure a lot of others will follow!I will be post all over social media about this scam! What a joke of a company thanks for nothing!
