BOGNER Reviews
Bogner's customer experience is sharply divided. While some shoppers praise the brand's design, quality, and professional customer service, the majority of reviews report serious problems. The most frequent complaints involve shipping failures (items marked delivered but not received), unresponsive customer support, website technical issues that prevent purchases, and poor in-store service when customers attempt returns or report defects. Shoppers also report language barriers and difficulty obtaining compensation or resolution for problems, with support teams taking weeks to investigate issues or refusing to help altogether.
The positive reviews highlight exceptional product quality and friendly, professional staff interactions, suggesting that when things go right, customers are satisfied with the merchandise itself. However, the low overall rating reflects deep frustration with fulfillment, customer service responsiveness, and return policies. Many reviewers describe their experience as their first and last with the brand, indicating that service failures are driving customers away despite satisfaction with the actual products.
Package got marked as delivered but I never actually got it. More than a week has gone by now, and even after reaching out multiple times, I'm being told it'll take 2 to 4 weeks just to look into it. They can't even show proof of delivery, yet somehow they need weeks to figure out what happened? This was my first time ordering from them and probably my last.
My partner and I bought several Bogner pieces at their resort shop in Tenerife. One of the men's sweaters turned out to have quality issues after just a few days of wearing. Since we're based far away, we couldn't bring it back for about 4 months. When we finally did, they looked at it and acknowledged the problem but refused to do anything about it. They just claimed it was our fault and that was that.
Fantastic design, really works well, and the quality is exceptional. On top of that, the people helping me were super friendly and professional.
Tried to purchase several items online last weekend. Their website kept rejecting 4 different credit cards that are all fine. Spent 40 minutes dealing with that mess. Sent them an email asking them to fix their system and compensate me for my time. Nobody even replied. Called a supervisor a few days later and she literally said, "I don't know what's happening there." The US location honestly should shut down. They're totally incompetent and rude.
Over the Christmas holiday I picked up a beautiful navy jacket at their store in the mountain resort. When I got back to my room, I noticed a small scratch on the front. I headed straight back to the store about two hours later to speak with someone. A guy who seemed to be running the place, with a short pixie cut, was really dismissive about it. He basically said they only have one of each size and all he could offer was a t-shirt if I came back the next day. His tone was condescending, and he acted like I was trying to scam a discount out of him. He could have easily checked if another location had the same jacket for an exchange, but he refused. I've had great experiences at other Bogner locations, so I definitely won't be going back to that one.
THEY TREAT INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS POORLY I placed an online order for three items. They only shipped one. My emails went completely unanswered. When I called, the staff refused to speak English with me. I'm not sure how they expect to have success selling to customers outside their home country with this kind of support.
Bogner really stands out for making premium ski wear that both my partner and I get a lot of use out of. We visit their Manhattan store on the regular and our ski pants from eight years back still look practically fresh out of the box.
Bogner really does make top-notch ski apparel that my wife and I absolutely love. We pop into their NYC location fairly often and I can vouch that the ski pants we got over eight years ago still look practically new.
Just called Bogner and they advertise a free customer service line. The initial greeting was in English, which was good. Someone picked up and I politely asked if they spoke English. They just said no and hung up on me. Incredibly rude and completely unhelpful service. I've got a missing order and money that was taken out of my account. This is awful. I'm going to have to file a dispute through my payment processor to get my money back.
HEADS UP!!!! My spouse suggested I grab a really nice Fire+Ice Bogner winter coat while we were vacationing in the Swiss Alps back in late December, and within about 6 weeks the main zipper (Ideal brand) completely stopped working. I attempted to reach out to Bogner's customer service team twice via email. I got an automated reply both times, but then heard nothing for 2 to 3 weeks. Finally decided to call them directly today, and they informed me it takes "6 to 8 weeks for answers" because they're swamped. For a luxury clothing brand, this is honestly pretty disappointing service.
I'm a big fan of this brand and have gotten plenty of stuff from them over the years, both when living in Europe and now here in America: ski jackets, hoodies, sweaters, shorts, pants, and three pairs of sneakers. Problem one: I wanted to grab some winter boots from their US website recently. The size options were all mixed up, showing both European numbers (43, 44, etc.) and US sizes (10, 11) on the same list. The sizing guide wasn't any help either because it only showed women's sizes even though I was looking at men's boots. I called to ask about it and the rep was useless. She just said to order two sizes and send back whichever doesn't fit. She didn't even understand that 43 and 44 were European sizes and thought they were women's only. There wasn't even basic info like foot measurements to help figure out the right size. This should be an easy thing to fix that would save them shipping costs. Problem two: I ordered size 11 and got an email confirming it, but what showed up was size 9. The customer service person had no clue how that went wrong. There's clearly a disconnect between the website system and what actually gets sent out.
Grabbed several tops but the black color started bleeding into the white sections under my arms. I only wore it for a couple hours doing some shopping. Fingers crossed the rest don't have this same issue when I put them on
I've been a loyal Bogner shopper for the past three years and really do enjoy their skiing gear overall. Bought two zip-up sweaters and the zipper broke not long after getting them. I emailed twice before getting a response that asked for pictures of the damage. I sent those photos over, and then nothing. I've written again multiple times but get no replies. When a company doesn't appreciate your business, you take it elsewhere. Really let down by this.
Placed an order for several items and they got here right when promised. Sent back something that was the wrong size and got my money back really quickly. Top quality ski wear for sure.
Bought a jacket that never made it to me. After tons of calls to the company and the shipping carrier without any help from Bogner tracking it down, I was communicating with someone at one of their locations named Cristina who was extremely rude and made me feel like a nuisance. I rang the store to tell her that the carrier had admitted it was their mistake and would refund Bogner if they just called to claim it. Weeks passed with nothing. In the end I had to get my refund through my payment processor. Then I got an email from Cristina saying they'd received compensation for the lost package and since I already got my refund, the matter was settled. So they basically pocketed the refund money at my expense! They didn't offer to cover my phone bills from all those calls or apologize for the hassle. It felt like a middle finger. Stay away from this company.
