Marvel Entertainment Reviews
Marvel Entertainment is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17 shoppers, with a majority expressing strong satisfaction. Shoppers praise Marvel's film quality, merchandise offerings, and the return of previously removed shows like The Punisher and Daredevil after fan demand. The website and overall brand experience receive positive marks, with many reviewers describing themselves as devoted fans of the content.
Negative feedback centers on concerns about monetization practices, particularly regarding digital collectibles and apps that some shoppers feel are exploitative and require excessive spending. A small number of reviewers also note a perceived decline in overall quality compared to earlier Marvel offerings, and one shopper requested greater international character representation, specifically calling out the lack of Indian representation despite India's large fanbase.
Finally! Marvel made the right move bringing back The Punisher and Daredevil after years of being off the table. That was a huge mistake to pull them initially - tons of fans stopped watching because of it. Honestly, they need to restore the whole lineup including Iron Fist. With all the resources Marvel has, there's no excuse not to. Really grateful they're fixing this. Don't stop here.
I used to love Marvel, but now I can't stand them because of how Topps operates! Here's the thing with Topps - they're a complete rip-off that only cares about squeezing money out of Marvel fans through their digital platforms like Marvel Collect, Star Wars, Bunt, and Disney apps. If you're not dropping $100-$1000 monthly, you get treated like a second-class citizen and stuck with garbage cards that still cost $10-$90. The whole system is rigged - they've got VIP members who get special treatment while regular users are treated terribly. Their rating system has become a weapon for revenge, and the trading process is completely broken because it lets people abuse each other. The gap between high spenders ($100-$1000 per month) and regular players ($10-$50 monthly) is outrageous. Topps David is the worst manager ever. When people suggest improvements, they get ignored and given poorly designed card sets instead. Everyone's bailing on these apps because Topps is pure greed and price gouging. Marvel was my favorite company, but I've grown to hate it because of how Topps ruins the experience. The card designs keep getting worse unless you're in the top spending tier.
It's not quite as good as it used to be - things have lost some magic lately. That said, it's still way ahead of DC.
I noticed Marvel cast characters from different countries on their platform, but there's no Indian representation. India's one of your biggest audiences for films. Would love to see more Indian characters included.
Marvel's fantastic. Their site is really cool, the merchandise is awesome, and the movies are incredible. Love what they're putting out there. Keep it up!
Bought some action figures for my kids - they got the spider-man and hulk ones - and they absolutely love them. Thanks a lot!
Got some action figures for my kids - spiderman and hulk - and they're obsessed with them. Really appreciate it!
I placed an order for 4 print subscriptions through Marvel's website, but the third-party vendor they partner with never sent them. When I reached out to Marvel about getting this fixed, they wouldn't help and just kept saying it's not their problem - it's the third-party's fault. Fair warning to international customers: skip the print comics on Marvel's site unless you want to throw money away.
Marvel's definitely one of the best production companies out there. They've built so many legendary characters and villains that'll be remembered forever. The newer roster though - I'm kind of on the fence about those.
I'm looking for somewhere I can feel comfortable with my kid, but honestly some of the newer character designs feel off to me. The latest addition with that brooding vampire-type character just isn't landing right with me.
Marvel shaped my childhood and continues to be an important part of who I am today.
Marvel will always hold a special place in my heart from growing up, and that's never going to change.
This is an entertainment company that I genuinely adore. Their films always have compelling plots that keep you totally engaged from start to finish. Major props to Marvel.
