My first couple orders from Acme were problem-free, but the latest one turned into a disaster. My shipment was seriously delayed without them telling me anything. I had to reach out after ten days wondering where it was, and that's when they finally said it was backordered with a two and a half to three month wait. I needed it for a birthday so I asked to cancel, but they refused and said I'd have to return it after it arrived. I ended up ordering from someone else instead, and it shipped in two days and got here within the week. How did they get it so wrong? On top of that, I had to pay to send back their item. When I tried to get reimbursed for shipping, they said the mistake wasn't their fault. And to make matters worse, they got my name wrong in every email they sent me.

The positive reviews they show seem fake. Looking into it more, I found they get one or two stars on other sites because of shipping problems. I ordered a snowblower weeks ago that was supposed to get here within days. Still haven't gotten it and nobody will help. Steer clear of this company.

Bought a Milwaukee Fuel drill with a hammer drill plus two batteries, but only got one battery in the shipment. When I called customer service, all I got was the runaround and no solution to get the missing battery.

I'd give them zero stars if I could, but one's the lowest option. My daughter got me a wheeled Stanley tool tote as a Christmas present, but it didn't show up until late January. The box looked fine when it arrived so I didn't check inside right away. Come springtime when I wanted to use it for cleaning, I opened it and found one side was completely smashed. When I contacted Acme about it, they said it was outside their 30-day window and told me to call Stanley instead. But Stanley didn't pack it, Acme did. I'm done with them. There are plenty of other retailers who actually care about their customers.

My experience with Acme Tools was fantastic. Got a package of Dewalt power tools and they sent tracking right away. Everything showed up in exactly four days like they promised. Ordered on March 2nd, had it by March 6th. Would definitely shop with them again. Everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Terrible company that doesn't care about keeping customers informed. I bought a Caterpillar blower from them with a delivery window of the 12th through the 14th. It never showed up on the 14th and there was no tracking info I could access. When I called to check on it, they said it was now scheduled for the 5th of next month instead. Nobody bothered to tell me this had changed! If I hadn't reached out myself, I probably wouldn't have heard anything. Pretty disrespectful way to treat customers. I won't be buying from them again and think they need to seriously reconsider how they handle their clients.

Skip Acme Tools and save yourself the trouble. Their delivery timeframes are totally misleading. They bundle items together and then can't get them to you on time. I'm still waiting for a Dewalt Miter Saw Stand I ordered, and I could buy the same thing anywhere else by now. Shouldn't have gone for that bundled deal. Their customer service team isn't helpful either.

I ordered a multimeter that never arrived. When I asked about it, they sent me tracking information, but I couldn't open the file. No help after that.

Something really strange happened. I've never even ordered from them, yet they tried to charge my bank account without any explanation. The weird part is the amount was zero. Really bizarre, and I tried uploading evidence but the site wouldn't accept images.

Found an amazing price on a tool that was over a hundred dollars cheaper than anywhere else, plus free shipping. I see a lot of negative reviews on here and I'm sure some people have had real problems, but I think people tend to only post when something goes wrong. Since mine went great, I wanted to share that perspective. The product came exactly as described, brand new and sealed, and delivery was incredibly quick. I can't say whether things would've been different if there was a backorder or if I'd needed to call support, but based on my experience, this was fantastic.

That's just how things work in the digital marketplace these days.
