Grabbed a king bed frame on Black Friday for a hundred less than Amazon and way cheaper than the other big retailers. I was skeptical about the price, but now I know why. FedEx lost my order and it took six days for Hayneedle to even admit it. Then they offered me fifteen percent off as an apology, which I rejected. I asked if they'd overnight a replacement and they said no because they can't afford the shipping. Then they said they'd ship it normally, only to find out they don't have it in stock anymore. What a waste. They gave me a refund and I bought the same frame on Amazon for two hundred more. You really do get what you pay for sometimes.

This whole thing was a disaster from start to finish. I bought a patio dining set and getting it delivered was rough. The shipping company just texted saying they'd be there in fifteen minutes with no real coordination. When it showed up, the table had damage that couldn't be fixed. I asked about replacing just the top and they said no, I'd have to return everything or take a discount. Getting it picked up for the next month turned into a nightmare. The shipping company constantly no-showed, lied about when they'd arrive, and just hung up on me when I tried rescheduling. Email support was nice enough but didn't actually help fix anything.

Hayneedle wouldn't let me post this review on their site, so I'm putting it here. My dining set arrived completely destroyed by the manufacturer and shipper, and there was no way to just swap out the table. I had to send back nine separate boxes, and they told me if I wanted a replacement, I'd need to place a whole new order without even getting my refund first. When I chose the full return, the third-party shipper messed up again and missed the pickup window, which delayed everything. The boxes were collected on May 10th and over a week later, I still didn't know if they'd arrived or when I'd get my money back. I'm never buying from Hayneedle again.

This might be the shadiest retailer out there. They really stretch the truth in their product photos and descriptions, which pretty much amounts to fraud. Then they know most people won't bother returning something after all the hassle of getting it and trying to fix the problem, so they just offer a return as the only option. It's honestly appalling how they operate.

This company flat out won't refund returns, even when you have all the documentation. I ended up having to get my bank involved and file a dispute. They claimed their system showed I got paid, but nothing ever hit my account. My bank looked into it and confirmed nothing went through. I contacted customer service over and over but got nowhere. I also filed a complaint with the federal trade commission. They basically called me dishonest without saying it directly.

Problem was, every time I tried submitting one, the website wouldn't accept it. Pretty ironic, since that's probably why the thing has no reviews in the first place. The cabinet itself is fine, nothing wrong with it really. But apparently Hayneedle only cares if you're using Google Chrome. Guess they're not too worried about customers on other browsers.

Honestly, I'd give zero stars if I could. This place doesn't bother getting real shipping info from their suppliers. I ordered bar stools from a vendor through them and waited three months with no updates or explanation. Then out of nowhere they just cancelled the order. Hayneedle is unreliable and won't communicate. Steer clear.
