Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- Check that you entered the code with correct capitalization and spacing, as codes are case-sensitive and copying errors are common.
- Confirm the offer has not expired by visiting RetailCoupons.com again, since promo code validity windows can change.
- Verify the code applies to your specific products, as some discounts restrict use to certain brands or categories within beauty and skincare.
- Clear your browser cookies and cache, then try applying the code again in case a technical issue prevented it from registering.
- Review the offer details on RetailCoupons.com to check for minimum purchase requirements or exclusions that may apply to your cart.
- Contact Bluemercury customer service directly if the code still fails to work after you have verified these conditions.
Bluemercury Savings Hacks
If Bluemercury offers a loyalty or rewards program, check whether you can combine a promo code discount with existing loyalty points or member benefits for additional savings on skincare and cosmetics.
Some Bluemercury promotions may exclude certain luxury brands or newly launched skincare lines. Review the offer terms on RetailCoupons.com to confirm your desired products qualify before adding them to your cart.
Beauty retailers often run larger promotions during seasonal events and holidays. Checking RetailCoupons.com regularly helps you time purchases with the best available discounts on cosmetics and skincare.
If you are a new Bluemercury customer, prioritize using a first-time discount code on a larger purchase to maximize your savings on higher-priced skincare or cosmetic items.
Bluemercury Shipping Policy
Bluemercury typically offers standard and expedited shipping options at checkout. Review the available carriers and estimated delivery times during your checkout process, as shipping costs and speed vary based on your location and the delivery service selected. Many beauty retailers offer complimentary shipping above a certain order threshold, so check the current terms on bluemercury.com.
Bluemercury Returns & Refund Policy

Bluemercury Reviews
Bluemercury has a deeply polarized customer base. Positive reviewers praise fast shipping (often next-day), excellent packaging that protects delicate items, helpful and knowledgeable in-store associates at some locations, responsive customer service, and an appealing rewards program. However, the majority of reviews are critical. Common complaints center on poor customer service responsiveness, particularly regarding damaged shipments where the company deflects responsibility between UPS and vendors rather than taking ownership. In-store experiences are frequently criticized as uninviting and understaffed, with limited product selection compared to competitors like Ulta and Sephora, and customers report difficulty getting assistance with product testing or advice.
Service quality appears inconsistent across locations. While some shoppers report exceptional associate interactions and smooth transactions, others describe broken promises from store management, unresponsiveness after purchase, and a general lack of support when problems arise. The stark divide between five-star and one-star ratings suggests that positive experiences depend heavily on which location customers visit or which fulfillment process handles their order.
Huge thanks to the associate at the Fort Worth location for outstanding service! She was genuinely kind, super helpful, and really knowledgeable about everything. We're definitely going to be regular customers from now on. Much appreciated!
I placed two orders in two weeks and both were fantastic. My items shipped the next day and arrived within two business days. The packaging protected everything really well, even the delicate products, and everything came fresh. It was super easy to track my orders on their website, and I love their rewards program. I tend to buy during their sales where they discount items 20%, and getting rewards points that convert to money for later purchases is amazing. Really excellent experience overall.
I'd give zero stars if possible. My store visit at the East Hampton location was miserable. The store manager promised she'd exchange a product I wasn't happy with, so I drove back home, retrieved it, and returned to the store. She then claimed she couldn't help because she needed to go to lunch. I waited for her to return and she completely denied ever offering to help, acting like she never made the exchange offer. The entire thing was infuriating, from the original purchase not ringing up correctly to being outright lied to. I called the helpline and after a long runaround and being put on hold repeatedly, they told me they only handle online purchases. I asked why I wasn't told that immediately instead of wasting 45 minutes of my time. Whoever owns this company should seriously reconsider whether this location is worth keeping.
This seems to be a common problem based on what I'm reading. The customer service is terrible. Once they charge your card and ship the package, they wash their hands of it. When my package arrived damaged, they told me to call UPS. UPS told me to contact the vendor because they were already notified of the damage. Nobody takes responsibility.
Good experience overall. My package arrived in five days and the delivery went smoothly. Customer service was responsive and helpful. Everything showed up in great packaging. Would recommend.
The product selection is pretty underwhelming and the in-store experience matches that. Compared to what Ulta and Sephora provide, there's way less variety available. There's nobody around to help you test things out or explain products. The store feels sterile and uninviting.
This was my second visit and I had an equally great experience as my first. I wish I'd written a review after my initial visit, so I'm making up for it now. As someone serious about skincare, I've been working with a consultant named Inna who's been outstanding. She's warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, always taking time to thoroughly answer my questions with no pressure tactics. During my recent visit, I also interacted with a brand representative named Rachael who was just as helpful and informed. Both of them made sure I left confident about my product choices. Thanks for the excellent service and I'll definitely be back.
The beauty consultants at this store are fantastic! I was looking for Jane Ireland makeup after a skin expert recommended it, but I wasn't sure which products or shades would work for me. I visited the local store and the consultants listened carefully to my skin issues (aging, sensitivity, redness) and steered me toward Chantecaille instead. They only sold me exactly what I needed: foundation, concealer, and a sponge. They saved me from wasting time and money on trial and error. These consultants are knowledgeable pros who actually care about recommending the right products.
Their rewards program requires you to spend $250 to get a $10 gift card, but here's the catch: if you return anything you bought with that gift card, they won't refund it. The pricing and customer protection at this company are seriously lacking.
I've had terrible problems with this company both in-store and online. My online orders keep getting cancelled for no clear reason, and they claim suspicious activity is the issue, then say they need 1-2 business days to investigate. What's worse is that after making in-store purchases with different credit cards over the past year, I've experienced fraudulent charges within days of shopping there. Every time, I've had to cancel and replace my cards. Their no-cash-only policy seems designed to capture credit card information. Combined with their practice of taking payment online then cancelling orders on their end, I'm convinced they're mishandling customer financial data.
I'm glad I found out other customers have dealt with this fraud accusation too. I've been buying from Bluemercury regularly for years, spending between $500-$800 monthly. I went to reorder my usual skincare items like Rodial Rose Gold Moisturizer and Bee Venom the same way I always do. Instantly after checking out, I got an email saying they detected fraud and cancelled my order. I tried again with the same result. I sent them a formal notice demanding they close my account, delete my information, and stop all contact with me. There are plenty of other retailers out there. Since I can get these exact products directly from the brand, that's what I'm doing now instead.
My orders keep getting cancelled, and this is the second time in a month it's happened when I use a coupon code. I've been a regular customer with tons of purchase history, but they claim items aren't in stock when I know they actually are and have been for a long time. I'm done shopping with them.
Don't shop here! I spent over $350 at their Edina location and the eyeshadows I bought arrived completely crumbled. When I called to report the issue, the employee was dismissive and said I'd have to come back to exchange them in person. I returned to the store with my receipt hoping for better service, but the associate refused to help, citing their policy against replacing damaged items. I ended up having to contact the brand directly just to get a replacement for what I paid for at Bluemercury. I will never shop there again.
Had a fantastic experience with an online customer service rep after I received the wrong skincare product in my order. The company quickly sent me the correct item to make up for the mix-up. I'm definitely ordering from them again.
Do not order from here. I placed an order in May and as of now in late June it still shows with UPS as just having the label created. Three days after ordering, an item got marked out of stock so I called to cancel the whole thing. The representative seemed confused about stock levels, so I asked to cancel. She said she would but the order is still active. If these items ever show up, I'm returning them immediately. This company is a complete waste of time.
