Pela Case Reviews
Pela Case receives strong praise from the vast majority of shoppers, with 16 reviews averaging 4.9 out of 5. Reviewers consistently highlight exceptional customer service, noting that the team responds quickly to questions, handles replacements smoothly, and treats customers well throughout the purchasing and support process. The cases themselves are praised for their quality, stylish designs, and eco-friendly commitment. One reviewer noted a significant service breakdown where automated responses failed to be followed up on after multiple contact attempts regarding an out-of-stock item, resulting in unresolved communication.
While positive experiences dominate feedback, the single three-star review reveals a potential vulnerability in Pela's support system when automated messaging is involved. Most shoppers report that direct customer service interactions are friendly and effective, with the company willing to ship replacements and offer choices to dissatisfied customers. The overwhelming majority of ratings (94 percent five-star reviews) indicates strong overall satisfaction with both products and service.
I had a question about their cases and they sent back a detailed response that totally cleared things up for me.
Communication was friendly and quick, which made getting to a resolution really easy.
The cases themselves are really great, but I've run into problems with their support system. When my item went out of stock, I got an automated message telling me to select something else. I replied but heard nothing back. Even after sending a second message, all I got was another unhelpful bot response. Nothing after that. I've now requested to cancel my order, but I'm stuck using the same support channel and haven't connected with a real person yet. It's frustrating because I used to recommend them, but relying on bots instead of actual people isn't working. I'm holding off on suggesting them to others until this improves.
There's a lot to love about Pela cases, from their commitment to reducing plastic to their stylish designs and Canadian roots. For me though, the standout feature is their customer service. From placing my order to getting it and even recently when I needed a screen replacement, they've treated me incredibly well.
One case didn't sit right. They promptly replaced it and let me pick out a different style. Really impressed with their service.
My case arrived but didn't fit as expected. The team went above and beyond by shipping out a replacement and even let me choose which one I wanted. Couldn't be happier with how they handled it.
Got my case and fell in love with it right away. Unfortunately, there was a defect near the charging port. I asked if they could help and they immediately sent a replacement at no cost. I'm really impressed with how they took care of this and will definitely be ordering again.
I bought a case that I absolutely loved at first, but unfortunately it had a defect by the charging port. When I reached out to see if anything could be done, they immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. Their quick response and generous solution have me excited to shop with them again.
Had an issue where my shipping address was auto-populated incorrectly despite entering it right. A representative helped me out by resending my order to the proper location since they couldn't modify the first one. Such a thoughtful and helpful experience.
When my address got filled in wrong automatically, even though I'd typed it in correctly, a team member really stepped up. Since my original order couldn't be fixed, they made sure to ship the same items straight to my correct address. They definitely made my week!
This company is fantastic. The phone cases are adorable, super protective, and environmentally friendly. Their customer service is outstanding. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality cases.
I needed to make changes to my order and they got back to me right away with my cancellation request handled quickly.
