I ordered hiking boots online and got an email the next day about a 25% sale. When I called to cancel since it hadn't shipped yet, they said it was impossible to cancel because the order was in process. They suggested I order a new pair at the sale price, wait for the original ones to arrive, then return those to get my refund. That doesn't make sense - if it was already in process and not shipped, I should be able to cancel it.

Do not buy from them. They are scammers and don't actually deliver what you order.

After just 4 seasons of storing my Caribou waterproof winter boots indoors at normal room temperature, the rubber completely cracked on both shoes, making them useless in wet weather. Sorel's only offer was 10% off my next purchase - which will never happen because I'm done with them.

The product quality and delivery were fine, but the pricing shown on the website is deceptive. I found women's snow boots marked down from £180 to £144. The site showed the sale price of £144 with the original price crossed out, but when I got to checkout, it suddenly showed the full price. Since it was the final day of the sale and too late to contact anyone, I bought them anyway and asked for a refund of the difference. The customer service rep wouldn't help despite me providing screenshots, saying the discount didn't apply to that color. I actually had proof it did. I also never got my birthday discount that was offered by email, which was the main reason I shopped with them. Be careful - Sorel's pricing practices are misleading.

Warning - Sorel uses a shipping company that handles their deliveries. Be aware that if your package gets lost or stolen during shipping, Sorel won't refund you. Check other customer reviews about their shipping practices. I'm just another customer who got burned by this. It happened recently and I'm not the only one.

The shoe never arrived, and the customer service rep wasn't helpful at all, just kept saying the package was delivered and leaving it at that. I lost my money and never got the shoes. Don't waste your time with them. Update: The shoe finally showed up a month later, but it wasn't worth the wait and the quality was disappointing. Won't shop with them again.

I ordered boots for winter and they charged me right away. They shipped with a company that has terrible reviews - check them out before using Sorel. I got a delivery notification saying the boots were at my apartment with a photo of a garage, but I don't have a garage and neither do my neighbors. The package is nowhere to be found and both companies just give me the runaround. I ended up buying boots at Walmart and had a better experience, and I never shop there. Sorel is just as bad as their shipping partner. Be careful with either one. This used to be a great company but now it's a mess.

I'd give zero stars if possible. They shipped me size 16 Columbia boots when I ordered size 13 Sorel boots.

I agree with a lot of other customers. My slippers have been marked as out for delivery by the shipping company for 8 days with no sign of them and no tracking info, but Sorel won't send replacements. They only said they'd start an investigation today. When I had a similar issue with another retailer, they immediately shipped replacements while we waited and I agreed to return the originals if they ever showed up. Based on what other people are saying, I'm worried I won't get refunded either. I'm done with Sorel.

Sorel is a disgrace. They don't respond to messages, packages don't arrive, and they keep your money. I can't stress enough how much you should avoid this company.

Returning items was a nightmare. The shipping company lost my package and it took a month for Sorel to actually look into it properly. I got a pair of Emelie ankle boots in December 2023. I wore them just a couple times a week from December through early March since they weren't very comfortable anyway. A few weeks ago I pulled them out and noticed the rubber heel was peeling off. I have UGG boots that are over a decade old and the rubber still looks perfect. Sorel has a 1 year warranty so these wouldn't be covered, but I called with photos anyway because this shouldn't happen after just 13 months of minimal use. They refused to repair them. The quality is poor and I can't recommend their boots.
