Leslie’s Poolmart Savings Hacks
Leslie's Poolmart frequently runs seasonal promotions on opening and closing supplies. Check RetailCoupons.com for codes that may apply during spring pool openings or fall maintenance periods to maximize savings on bulk orders.
If purchasing multiple pool chemicals or maintenance items together, apply a percentage discount code to the entire order rather than buying items separately across multiple transactions.
New customers should check RetailCoupons.com for dedicated first purchase discounts before making an initial order, as these codes often provide larger savings than standard promotions.
Reserve your promo codes for larger purchases like pumps, filters, or heaters where a percentage discount yields the most significant dollar savings compared to smaller accessory orders.
Leslie’s Poolmart Shipping Policy
Leslie's Poolmart typically ships pool supplies via standard carriers, though shipping costs and delivery timeframes depend on order weight, destination, and item type. Bulky items like filters and equipment may incur higher shipping fees or require special handling. Review the site's shipping policy during checkout to confirm rates and estimated delivery windows for your specific location and order contents.
Leslie’s Poolmart Returns & Refund Policy
Leslie's Poolmart maintains a return or exchange policy for most items, though policies may differ for clearance merchandise or certain supplies. Shoppers should verify the return window and any restocking fees before purchasing, as these terms vary by product category. Contact the store's customer service team if you need to initiate a return or have questions about eligibility.

Leslie’s Poolmart Reviews
Leslie's Poolmart receives largely negative feedback, with shoppers reporting significant product quality issues and inconsistent customer service. Common complaints include defective pool covers that leak, heating equipment that fails to perform or breaks down shortly after purchase, billing errors, and misleading product descriptions (such as "complete" pool packages missing key components). Several customers also note that prices are no longer competitive compared to other online pool retailers, and warranty service comes with unexpected fees.
A small group of satisfied customers praise Leslie's Poolmart for fast shipping, responsive customer support, and receiving exactly what they ordered. The store appears to deliver positive experiences inconsistently; some shoppers report excellent communication and quick delivery times, while others encounter billing problems, product defects, and unhelpful customer service representatives. This inconsistency, combined with the high rate of product and service failures, makes Leslie's Poolmart a risky choice for major pool equipment purchases.
I usually shop at my neighborhood Leslie's location since it's close by and I like the team there, but I made the mistake of ordering a pool cover online last November. In the past, my pool covers last about 2 to 3 years, but this one has serious defects. Water from underneath gets through the cover membrane and collects on top. The whole thing is basically useless because a pool cover needs to keep rainwater contained so you can drain it and stop mosquitoes from breeding. It's a straightforward piece of equipment that just needs to be waterproof to work right. This one fails at that basic function. It's shocking that Leslie's management refused to replace such a clearly broken product. Instead they offered me a discount to buy another one that probably has the same issues. Why would I do that?
It's really a crapshoot with their customer service. Sometimes we've gotten great help and sometimes not so great. Their prices used to be competitive but nowadays I can find the same items cheaper from other online pool retailers.
Terrible experience buying a bigger heat pump for the pool. It barely warms the water even in summer. After 6 months it started leaking and they want $280 just to come look at it even though it's covered under warranty. That heater cost $5,000 and this is unacceptable. Won't be using them again.
I was hesitant based on some of the reviews I read, but I had absolutely nothing to complain about! The staff communicated really well, my hot tub cover arrived super fast, and it was exactly what I ordered. When I contacted customer support they were incredibly responsive. I received my cover in less than 2 weeks and it came about 4 weeks earlier than expected!
Placed an order to get shipped to the store for $13.83 and they charged my credit card. Then another random charge showed up for $9.04. I called customer service but they were useless and I'm still waiting to hear back. They owe me money. Stay away. After I complained more they cancelled the whole order but kept charging me anyway. Now I'm out $36.70 total. The billing is a mess and the customer service is nonexistent. Skip this place.
Bought an 18 foot round pool and they said the package came with everything. It did have most things, but no sand filter media. That doesn't make sense. When I asked about it, they said sand doesn't come included. But the advertising said complete package, so I figured sand would be included. I paid $1,800 for this supposed complete setup and no sand filter media arrived. That's really frustrating.
I used to work there and got let go for actually doing my job. The manager gets high in his car and doesn't work. The whole place is a disaster.
Won't be going back! The staff here seem completely lost about what they're doing and nobody appears to enjoy working there. I ordered several parts for delivery, and when the last one arrived for in-store pickup, it showed up in a damaged box with a shipping label stuck on it. The packaging had a huge hole and the corner was crushed accordion-style. They just handed it to me without saying anything about the damage. The product didn't function correctly, and now I'm stuck having to send it back without getting a replacement first. To top it off, when they asked me to leave feedback, the link didn't even work. This company is impossible to work with. There are plenty of other pool retailers that actually value their customers and wouldn't treat them this way. I'm shopping elsewhere from now on.
Two techs showed up at my house looking unprofessional and they left the pool cover scattered all over the place by the pool. Then he asked for payment. When I went back to check, I realized the job wasn't finished. He was supposed to verify that the pool pump was working but he never even turned it on. The whole situation felt sketchy. I'd appreciate if you'd send someone who actually knows what they're doing next time.
Went to your Knoxville location, store number 920, and bought a pool cleaning robot. My credit card got charged twice. The store employee told me the district manager would fix the duplicate charge since they were having computer issues. That was Saturday and by Monday nothing had changed. I called and talked to the same employee who said the manager would call me back. He never did and that was two weeks ago. Still haven't gotten my refund or heard from anyone.
Really disappointed with customer service at Leslie's store 9721. I brought in a water sample for testing like I always do. There was one person ahead of me getting their water tested. After standing around for 20 minutes, that person still hadn't finished. I saw two other staff members just standing there doing nothing, and they didn't even acknowledge me. The service was terrible so I left without getting my water tested. This kind of experience is unacceptable.
Tried to save $20 and ordered online instead of buying in the store. They had the chlorine tablets in stock at the store but wouldn't let me buy those instead, insisting I had to wait for my online order to ship to the store. That makes zero sense to me. I asked if I could get my money back but they said no until my order ships. The customer service ladies were actually super nice about it though. Their online ordering policy for basic items like this is ridiculous. It turned me off enough that I'll shop somewhere else. Too frustrating to deal with.
I was sold a warranty on my salt chlorine cell system. When I called to use it, one specialist told me one thing but the district manager said something completely different. They wouldn't return my calls or emails and it took 3 weeks to get a straight answer. This is hands down the worst customer service I've experienced anywhere.
Leslie's bought out Texson Pool Company and the transition has been a complete mess. My main pump failed in February of last year. The technician said they didn't have a standard pump in stock, so they installed what seemed like a subpar replacement. It was programmed incorrectly, and the pump manual is practically impossible to understand. Nobody explained how to fix the time settings which were off by 4 hours. It's summer now and I still can't get my chemicals balanced. My pool isn't usable at all. I've tried calling many times, including a recent call on 7/21. The tech promised to come evaluate the issues that same afternoon but then changed his story. An appointment was supposedly scheduled for the next day but nobody showed up. This company is extremely unprofessional and I can't speak to any managers. The staff members give me different information, transfer me around, and then hang up on me. They changed their company name but kept the same branding. This is only scratching the surface of my problems with them.
I booked an appointment with them and had to wait weeks for an opening. They said someone would come measure my pool for a cover quote and that I didn't need to be home as long as they could get to the pool. When the guy showed up he knocked on the door because he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do since his assignment notes were too vague. My husband called to tell me he was there and I explained we wanted quotes on both manual and automatic covers. He went back to look at the pool and came back leaving a tag saying no one was home and we need to reschedule. When I contacted Leslie's customer service I talked to two different reps. The first one kept trying to reschedule me and when I asked to speak with a manager she said no managers were around. I think there might have been a language issue because she didn't seem to understand what I was asking. The second representative was friendlier and said a tech would call me back but that never happened. Based on this awful experience I would never use them for any services or shop at their store.
