These bags are really well made and my kids think the designs are awesome

I would give them zero stars if I could. My first order came with a bag that ripped at the seams. When I returned it they refunded me but only as a gift card. I placed another order but after waiting over a week I had to follow up. They told me they'd canceled it without any explanation and only refunded part to a gift card with the rest going back to PayPal. I tried ordering again to use up the gift card balance. Two weeks passed and I had to check on it again only to have them cancel that order too without saying why. Now I realize they never even refunded the money from that order. I've tried reaching out multiple times but get no responses. Their customer service is terrible. All of this was supposed to be Christmas presents and now I have nothing to show for it plus I'm still missing money because I haven't gotten refunded properly.

Terrible experience with this company. They canceled my orders without letting me know what was happening. I got partial shipments even though the website showed everything was complete. When I tried to get them to make things right, they refused to help or offer any compensation. I wasted so much time trying to work with their team and I won't be back.

My daughter had been wanting a Hype backpack for ages so we thought starting secondary school was the perfect occasion to get one. While it looks nice, that's basically where the positives end. The fabric is really stiff and rigid, making it difficult to pack things or get them out. The zippers are awkward because of how the flaps and structure are designed, plus they're honestly hard to use. The shoulder straps barely have any cushioning and they caused real discomfort. The fabric shows stains and dirt immediately too, it was looking worn and messy after just one day of use. My daughter started complaining her back hurt, and I thought maybe it was just from carrying books since she's on the smaller side. But when I tried the backpack myself, the straps caused pain in my shoulders right away. The lunchbox is another problem - it's bulky and doesn't fold down when empty, so it takes up tons of space inside the backpack. The first one arrived with damage inside the packaging, and the second one had poorly sewn hems but we kept it because dealing with returns felt like too much. The pencil case is okay but with this kind of fabric it's getting dirty fast. Overall it's really expensive for something so impractical. We can't really justify buying another bag right now after just a couple of weeks of use, but my daughter's back health matters more than the cost so we'll have to replace it.

I've reached out more than ten times and haven't gotten a single response back. I paid extra for overnight shipping for my son's first day of school and they never even looked at what I ordered. This is unacceptable.

Never got my order delivered. I called to complain and they said they'd reach out to Royal Mail. Royal Mail came back and claimed they had GPS confirmation they left it in a safe place and closed the case. The problem is I don't have anywhere safe to leave packages at my house! Either someone took my package off my property or Royal Mail never actually delivered it. I'm really frustrated that Hype just accepted that explanation and closed the case without helping me. Not ordering from them again.

Got my delivery super fast, the lunch bag is really nice and well made

My order showed up missing three items because the package came open at the top, and I had another parcel that got lost somewhere in the middle of the country. I reached out to customer service worried about what happened, and Becky took care of everything. She was absolutely fantastic. She made sure my lost order got sent out quickly and filed a claim with Royal Mail for that one too. Then she looked into the missing items and asked what I'd like instead of a navy tracksuit set they didn't have in my size anymore. After going through their available options, Becky shipped out the three replacement items the same day which made my older kids really excited. As a mom of five who has autism, I end up buying a lot of different sizes since my kids find something they like and want it repeatedly as they grow, plus my 11 and 13 year olds are getting their own style preferences. I really appreciate that Hype carries such a wide selection for them to pick from. Thanks so much Becky you've actually been a lifesaver and I can't thank you enough
