Don't throw your money away on this place. I was charged more than the agreed rate, and the room looked nothing like the pictures. There was no daily paper, utensils were missing, and the bowls were filthy. The carpet had rips and smelled musty, plus there were wet moldy paper towels stuffed under the kitchen sink. The bathroom towels still had makeup residue on them. I could see people using drugs outside the side entrance. The power went out for about an hour with no explanation. When I asked the front desk for help using the DVD player, they were no help at all.

Due to a mandatory evacuation in the Naples area, we came to the hotel with a paid reservation. The front desk employee refused to honor our booking for no clear reason and the property wouldn't issue a refund either. The staff member seemed completely untrained and unprofessional, and frankly, very rude. She claimed she couldn't locate our reservation despite the fact that she was looking right at it. My wife spent over half an hour on the phone with a booking site trying different confirmation codes while this employee was staring directly at our information on her screen. My wife showed her ID with a matching last name to mine, and we were both standing there in front of her. My wife ended up calling the authorities, but they said it was a financial matter between us and the hotel. The hotel refused to let us stay and wouldn't give back the payment for our first night. They also said they'd cancelled the second night reservation but then refused to refund that charge as well. We had to book and pay for another hotel for those two nights instead. The whole situation is completely absurd and hard to believe.

We had booked Candlewood Suites in Ft Myers but when we got there, the property looked like it should be closed down. We had another option at a Days Inn chain, and we were told this was supposed to be really nice. My partner has mobility issues and can't use stairs. We learned there were no elevators and the entire ground floor of rooms was shut down from hurricane damage, along with the swimming area. The whole place appears uninhabitable. The person at the desk was very kind though and helped us cancel our reservation and get our money back. Still, the property itself is in terrible condition.

This place was absolutely unacceptable. During my stay, a very intoxicated woman confronted me in the lobby at half past three in the morning. I'd gotten up early to do laundry and she walked into the laundry room, got right in my face, and offered me alcohol. The situation was so uncomfortable I had to call police. The property has grills outside, but the patio is basically a smoking zone, and if there are people out there smoking, the smell is overwhelming. Plus, the grill ignition doesn't work, so you have to manually use a lighter to get it going. I left a review on another site and the owner actually demanded I take it down or leave the hotel the next day. I changed a few words to be less harsh, but he still wasn't happy and made me leave anyway. They do offer free laundry, but the heavy door to the fitness center gets propped open by an overflowing trash can that sometimes sits unemptied for days. There was a night clerk named Alfred who seemed nice enough, but speaking with him is difficult because you can barely hear what he's saying.

This was a nice room with basically everything you need. Staff members were genuinely friendly and always ready to help out. When we had an issue, it was sorted in just five minutes. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transit heading into Manhattan and a lovely waterfront walk nearby. I stayed at Candlewood Suites in the New Jersey area.

Crowne Plaza Hotel Docklands London had several frustrating issues. The pool operates on a very limited schedule for kids only, from 3 to 6:30 PM, which made it inconvenient for us. We also dealt with faulty keycards that didn't work properly, which ate up a lot of our vacation time troubleshooting the problem. On top of that, the window in our room wouldn't close all the way, so we were stuck sleeping in around 50-degree weather. The room door was also unstable and would pop off its hinges whenever we opened it.

This is an outstanding Intercontinental property. Situated in the well-known Ballsbridge neighborhood, it's in a perfect spot in Dublin. The hotel has excellent transit options with buses and trams nearby, plus easy road access to get around the city. The surrounding area has lovely scenery. You'll find a fantastic on-site restaurant, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and parking options. They serve a wonderful breakfast with tons of choices. The team is welcoming and genuinely goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable. The Executive rooms are particularly impressive with their comfortable beds. This is absolutely worth staying at if you're heading to Dublin. It was truly unforgettable. Highly recommend.

I got in touch with Vijay at the InterContinental London location near the O2 arena to discuss my booking for three deluxe rooms for a concert trip with my kids to see a major artist and an overnight stay. The Intercontinental in Mauritius absolutely exceeded all expectations. I can't even know where to begin, but here goes. If you're looking for a home-like atmosphere with outstanding service, incredible dining, and everything else you could want, this is your place. I loved it so much with family last year that I went back again six months later with my significant other. The presidential suite is absolutely worth booking if you can. Everything is spotless, the property grounds are stunning, and the entire visit felt like something special. The team treats you like royalty. The beach area could be better, but that won't stop me from returning next year. It was genuinely amazing. Would definitely recommend.

I booked this hotel for one night before catching a flight, and the whole experience was disappointing. Like most travelers, I woke up, took a quick shower, and headed out. When I grabbed a towel to dry off, I was horrified to see dark stains all over it. Since there was no clean towel available, I had to make do with a hand towel. Even worse, the towel had an awful smell. For a 4-star property, you'd think they could provide at least one clean towel. I know it might sound like a small complaint, but standards matter at this level. I had to rush to catch my taxi and didn't have time to complain right then. I tweeted about it later that morning and got a response asking me to email my details. I did, and their reply was generic, saying they'd keep it on file. When I asked how that actually helps me, they basically repeated that they had it on file. It became clear their social media responses are just for show.
