Promo Code Not Working? Try This

  • Verify that you have copied and pasted the coupon code exactly as shown, since codes are case-sensitive and extra spaces will cause rejection.
  • Check the offer details on RetailCoupons.com to confirm the code has not expired or reached its usage limit.
  • Ensure the items in your cart qualify for the promotion, as some offers apply only to specific product categories.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try entering the code again, since cached data can sometimes interfere with code validation.

Fjällräven receives polarized feedback from shoppers, with 24 reviews split sharply between detractors and supporters. Negative reviewers cite serious durability issues, including seams splitting after minimal wear, stitching failures at stress points (such as D-rings on backpacks), and rapid color fading. Multiple shoppers report that weather-protective garments fail to deliver on their promises, with rain jackets leaking in light drizzle and winter trousers soaking through in wet conditions. Customer service emerges as a consistent complaint, with shoppers reporting unresponsive email support and frustratingly difficult return processes. Several reviewers note that product fit can be inconsistent across sizes.

Positive reviewers appreciate Fjällräven's heritage and design, though their voices are significantly outnumbered in the review dataset. The brand's reputation for durability appears to be at odds with recent purchaser experiences, suggesting potential quality control problems or changes in manufacturing standards. Shoppers willing to buy from Fjällräven should expect limited recourse if items fail or fit poorly, and should verify that specific products meet functional requirements before purchase, particularly for weather-dependent gear.

This is hands down the worst piece of clothing I've ever purchased. I spent a lot of money on their Anorak No. 8 thinking it would handle any weather situation. It absolutely doesn't. It's useless when it's cold because it has no insulation, and not much better on sunny days. But the real disaster is rain. Even a light drizzle soaks straight through and leaves you drenched. They suggest using Greenland wax to improve water resistance, which is ironic since a water-resistant jacket shouldn't need extra waterproofing in the first place. After two applications, my new jacket looked ancient, yet a simple five-minute bike ride in light rain had me completely soaked. I've tried silicone-based treatments and even boot polish. Nothing works on their G1000 fabric. Wear this in rain and you will get wet. Really wet. The only things this jacket is good for are showing off that you have money to waste on Scandinavian fashion and picking blackberries. It's terrible at its actual job and wearing it makes you feel foolish for the purchase.

I bought the Singi trekking cap in three different sizes - small, medium, and large - trying to find one that actually fits. None of them work because the adjustment system on these caps is absolutely terrible. If you're thinking about getting one, my honest recommendation is don't bother. One star is honestly too generous for this product.

Purchased Vidda Pro trousers that fell apart after minimal wear - a seam split completely in half. On top of that, the black color faded to brown remarkably fast. I've tried reaching out multiple times via email but never receive responses. This is frustrating because I've been a repeat customer in the past, but I'm done with this brand. For $210 per pair, these pants should easily last a year and a half or longer. The construction is clearly subpar and their customer support is essentially nonexistent. Won't be ordering again.

My son gave his wife a Kanken mini for Christmas, and within a day the stitching split at the D-ring on one shoulder strap. We took it to the local store where staff were genuinely helpful but explained they couldn't handle it directly. They gave us the brand office contact info. We were told it would need to go away for repairs, which felt like poor service for a supposedly reliable brand. Eventually, after some back and forth, the staff at the shop and a representative from customer care both went above and beyond to help resolve it. In the end, they replaced the bag. While the initial handling was frustrating, the people involved did their best to make it right.

I bought the Sörmland Tapered Winter Trousers, and for the price, they're really not suitable for wet British weather. During a short dog walk in rain and sleet, my legs were soaked through to my merino base layer in just twenty minutes. These winter trousers aren't waterproof enough for actual rain - they perform about as well as regular denim. If staying dry matters to you, look elsewhere.

The jacket didn't fit right, and honestly, I've noticed their quality has gone downhill compared to older items. This happens with a lot of clothing companies lately, but that's beside the point. The real problem is their customer service, which is basically nonexistent. I wanted to return the jacket for my money back. They apparently expect everyone to own a printer for the return label. When that didn't work, they mailed me one, but they only partner with UPS and my nearest location was 7 miles away. I had to go to my local post office and pay over £7 to send it back with Royal Mail instead. The package got delivery attempts twice but nobody was home either time. When I complained about this mess, their team (based in Sweden) said I'd have to wait for it to eventually return to me, and then send it again to the same address to get my refund. Why would I do that when nobody's answering the door? This is absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't purchase from them again ever. They genuinely don't seem to care about their customers. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

The quality and fit vary too much across their lineup. Some products like the Vidda Pro trousers and their G1000 jackets are legitimately great. But other items have gotten noticeably worse over time. Their Keb trousers used to be rock-solid but don't perform anywhere near as well anymore. I was hopeful about their new Gore-Tex partnership hoping to fix their waterproof gear issues, but the new stuff is way too expensive when you compare it to Arc'teryx options, and the traditional Scandinavian cut doesn't really work well for the broader international market.

Patricia M.Oct 29, 2025

This is incredibly frustrating - I see the same story repeated from so many other customers here. I spent £1000 on Gore-Tex hiking equipment three weeks ago for an upcoming trip. It was a significant amount of money that I was investing in my hiking. The trip was coming up fast, so I emailed asking about expedited shipping and was promised the package would go out within 24 hours. They mentioned UPS timelines could be unpredictable due to customs, which I understood. My hike happened without any dispatch confirmation arriving. When I returned and had another trip planned, I checked on my order status. It hadn't shipped. Finally on October 17th I got confirmation it was in transit. By October 20th, UPS told me the package was stuck in their warehouse missing a commercial invoice and they were waiting on the sender to provide it. By October 28th, the paperwork still hadn't arrived and they sent my gear back. I'm out a lot of money and haven't been able to get meaningful help from their customer service.

The backpacks come in nice color options, but they fade noticeably and start showing white discoloration after some time. The black ones hold their color best by comparison. The bigger issue is their return policy, which is frankly terrible. If you want to return a backpack, they just send it back and won't issue a refund. Really frustrating overall.

Robert H.May 24, 2025

Placed an online order that got confirmed and charged to my card. Then they tell me they can't deliver to my location, so I provide a different address. They say it's been dispatched. Two weeks go by with nothing arriving. I track the package using the number they gave me but it doesn't work at all. When I ask customer service about it, they claim the package hasn't even shipped yet. Completely unacceptable. I cancel right away, but somehow it gets sent anyway. The whole thing was a nightmare from start to finish. Their customer service is really disappointing.

Brandon K.May 3, 2025

The gear itself is solid and fits my frame well. I have a membership discount with them, but they penalize you for it. Free shipping goes away once you're a member, which is bizarre since most sites do the opposite for loyalty members. If I order two pairs of pants in Canada with our weak dollar, I'm looking at close to $600. Then shipping costs appear on top of that because I'm supposedly a VIP. It makes no sense. The products are good quality, but similar brands offer comparable gear for half the price and actually give free shipping on large VIP orders. Every time someone sees that shipping charge pop up, it kills the motivation to complete the purchase. People start second-guessing whether they want to order twice if something isn't quite right. It's a terrible way to handle member pricing and you're losing sales because of it.

Amanda S.Mar 20, 2025

I had an excellent experience with their customer service team. I needed urgent help with something and they were able to resolve it in the last hour before the weekend started. They recognized the urgency and escalated my case appropriately. Couldn't be happier with how they handled it.

Jennifer L.Mar 20, 2025

Had an excellent experience dealing with their support team. I needed urgent assistance and they managed to take care of everything in the final hour before the weekend closed. They recognized the time-sensitive nature of my situation, escalated it appropriately, and got it resolved. Really impressed with how they handled things.

Hannah V.Mar 8, 2025

I've had this coat for one year now. I bought it in the US, but I relocated to Finland afterward. Within that time, it got a small tear and I asked if they could send me a repair kit. They refused because I purchased it in America and said they couldn't support it in Finland. Then the pocket completely ripped open from normal hand use and stuffing started pouring out. I spent $600 on a coat that made it just one year. The material feels cheap and their customer service won't help. I respect Nordic culture, but clearly American capitalism has influenced things here too. Their product quality has declined and they don't care about taking care of customers based on what I've experienced.

Eleanor G.Jan 8, 2025

The customer service was poor, even considering the holiday timing. The carrier's delivery information was contradictory and inaccurate. I tried asking Fjällräven for clarification but received no prompt response. They eventually got back to me, but only after my order had already arrived. I felt letdown and frustrated by how they handled it, and they only offered a 15% discount code for future purchases. Why would I come back to them after an experience like that?
