Katz really stepped up with an impressive range of products including burger buns, English muffins, and various loaves. Look, I'll be honest - you can still tell it's gluten free bread, but they've done a really impressive job making quality options. We've started buying their stuff in bulk and just pop it in the freezer. Whenever we need fresh sandwiches, we just thaw what we need and we're good to go within minutes.
Skip This One - The packaging looked promising and the ingredient list seemed solid at first glance, but then I noticed PALM OIL listed right there. This is an ingredient I really try to avoid. Anyone who does a quick online search will find that palm oil is loaded with saturated fat and has been linked to heart disease, diabetes, and inflammatory issues. Beyond the health concerns, the environmental damage is significant - massive deforestation, destruction of wildlife habitats, loss of species diversity, and serious climate impact. Sure, it's cheaper to produce than alternative oils, but the health and environmental costs are just too high. I can't recommend this product.
