What Shoppers Say About USCutter
USCutter receives sharply divided reviews that reflect two very different customer experiences. Long-term customers and those who have worked with specific staff members like Monica and Michael praise the company for responsive customer service, fair shipping costs, and willingness to resolve damage issues without hassle. These satisfied customers express strong loyalty and confidence in returning for future purchases.
However, the majority of recent reviews describe serious problems with equipment quality and support responsiveness. Multiple customers report receiving defective machines that arrived non-functional or failed shortly after purchase, including issues with unresponsive screens, cutting tools that won't operate, and carriage mechanisms that malfunction. A recurring complaint is inadequate technical support: customers describe waiting weeks for responses, receiving unhelpful troubleshooting advice, and experiencing extended downtime (sometimes months) while warranty claims remain unresolved. Additionally, one customer reported confusion about software licensing options that resulted in a $350 loss and inability to use the equipment.

Sorted by: Most recentBeen running into serious problems with my DTF printer. The supervisor took over two weeks just to get back to me while my printer has been broken for three months straight. He said he'd call me with a discount on a newer model but never followed up. I kept waiting and waiting, getting more frustrated since this printer is basically my income. I even contacted Clicklease and explained how hard it's getting to pay when the machine is down and I've got no solution. Clicklease tried to help but nothing worked out. Then today I got a really unprofessional voicemail that just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm done with this company for good.
Back in November 2022, I spent almost $700 on the LaserPoint 3 ARMS Contour Cut Vinyl Cutter, and it's been nothing but a nightmare. Right out of the box the machine didn't work. The screen was blank, the controls were unresponsive, and the cutting tool wouldn't drop at all. The carriage would move but nothing else functioned. I submitted support tickets, followed every instruction for setup, installed all the drivers, tried different COM ports, and even created workarounds just to try operating it through the software. I connected everything to a big screen, made reference guides, and tested everything thoroughly. Still nothing worked. After three years I've never gotten this machine to function, and now it's just an expensive brick sitting in my workspace. US Cutter never looked into what was wrong, never offered to replace it, and never sent parts that actually helped. Their support keeps passing the buck and acts like they don't care that the unit was broken from day one. If you run a creative business or own a small company, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. You can't count on US Cutter to back up their products.
I've been a customer for a decade now and US Cutter has always treated me well. Recently I got something damaged from shipping. It was clearly rough handling by the courier company. Monica in their office fixed everything for me right away without any problems. I'm confident I'll stick with them for another ten years.
Got a Titan 2 cutter back in July 2022. The warranty was a huge selling point for us. After some light use that was totally covered under warranty, the machine stopped cutting because the head won't lower anymore. They shipped a new part, I installed it, and same problem. The tech support person didn't really have any answers except telling me to check cables. I spent hours swapping out parts and checking connections but the machine still won't work. When I called back, they said I'd have to pay to ship the whole unit across the country, then wait for them to inspect it before deciding if they'd send a replacement or loaner. That's about three weeks of downtime. If you're thinking about buying this, don't bother. It's a Chinese made machine that just doesn't perform, and the company won't stand behind it like they claim.
Bought the MH 871 with the vinyl master cut software. Decided to upgrade to DSR but found out I actually needed expert instead. I stopped making payments once I realized this mistake. Now the company is telling me I can't use my original software anymore, which means I lost $350 and can't use my plotter. This should have been explained before letting me upgrade. US Cutter keeps giving me the runaround, telling me to contact the software company, and the software company tells me to contact US Cutter. My business is basically shut down because I can't process customer approvals or send work anymore.
Just ordered 36 mugs and shipping to Hawaii was only $26, which is amazing compared to another company that wanted $145. My order showed up in 5 days via UPS even with a holiday in there. Three of the mugs got broken during shipping, so I called Michael at their office. He took care of it without any hassle and credited me $15. The rest of the mugs turned out perfect for what I needed.
Got stuck trying to load Sure Cuts A Lot Vol. 4 on my new computer and struggled all week. Called their tech support team and Peter answered. He was so patient, nice, and really knew his stuff. He got my issue sorted out super fast. Peter, I'm genuinely thankful for taking the time to help me out!
The Swing Heat Press I bought from them works fine, except the head wobbles around too much. I even bought a tool designed to keep it tight, but it keeps loosening up. Now I have to hold it steady with an oven mitt while pressing. Then I got the Laserpoint3 Cutter for about $600. The first one showed obvious signs of being used already. The display was cracked and the stand was scratched and beat up. I sent it back and waited a month for a replacement. That one was also clearly used before. It came with spray paint still in the box and sticky gunk all over it from old labels. Plus the blade didn't move right. They did send some parts overnight for me to fix it myself, but the whole thing was a mess for a $600 product. They should have just sent me an actual new one. The customer service reps were really nice, but I'm not buying from them again.
Called to question why they charged me tax on an out of state order. Their rep said Pennsylvania was at 8% when it's actually 6%, plus they were adding tax on the shipping cost too. I tried explaining that PA's rate is lower, but instead of listening they just hung up on me after I'd already waited 15 minutes to talk to someone. That's no way to treat a customer. They lost out on a $2,000 to $3,000 sale from me.
Had a frustrating experience with how the company handled my delivery. They set up signature required through FedEx, but when I called FedEx to arrange a store pickup instead, they told me the seller would need to modify the shipping details. I reached out multiple times asking US Cutter to contact FedEx about changing this, and they just said maybe it could be picked up the next day. They didn't offer any compensation, discount, or solution to make things right. I'm upset I didn't just buy from a store in my area instead.
