Gochirp Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Gochirp
Gochirp receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers citing severe operational and customer service failures as primary concerns. Reviewers report substantial issues with order processing (delays extending beyond stated timelines), duplicate charges, unresponsive customer support (relying on automated replies with no human contact available), tracking problems including packages marked delivered but never received, and unexpected price increases on products. The return process presents additional friction, with hidden return fees and low-quality replacement pads that deteriorate quickly.
The few positive aspects mentioned are limited, with one reviewer noting quick email responses (though the content was unhelpful). Most shoppers express frustration with the inability to reach human support outside business hours, lack of transparency on pricing changes, and the company's inability to prevent shipment of duplicate orders. Multiple customers report escalating disputes with their banks or requesting refunds, indicating deep trust issues with the retailer.

Sorted by: Most recentThe website messed up and charged me twice about 40 minutes apart. There was nowhere to cancel orders through the website and no way to reach customer service outside regular business hours. My order hadn't shipped yet but they said they couldn't stop it. They promised free return shipping, but the return system they told me to use was charging me to send it back. I had to call their phone line, and they processed the return but put it as store credit instead of a refund. I had to call back a second time to fix it. Still waiting for my actual refund. They didn't apologize at all. The delivery speed is fine though, so I can't complain about that.
Edit: they're telling me in their response to email the same address that keeps sending automatic replies. My order is still sitting without any shipping update nine days later even though they say processing takes 24 to 48 hours. Their help email just sends me robotic responses with a tracking number that hasn't changed, and I can't reach an actual person. Being in the UK, I can't even call their phone line. This is frustrating, especially for something this expensive. Would not recommend.
I bought an RPM massage roller on the Canadian site. A week goes by and literally all that happened was a shipping label got made. The help center is just automated responses and completely useless. I'm going to request a refund.
The price jumped up by a hundred bucks. I've been going back and forth trying to get an explanation, and their emails came back quick, but here's what I found: the Chirp Contour went from $499 to $599 in less than a month. They said it's a 'New Product.' But the website doesn't label it as new at all. In times like these with costs already through the roof, deceptive pricing tactics shouldn't be a thing. Just be honest about wanting higher prices instead of making excuses.
Make sure you read all the fine print. There's a charge if you want to return something you're not happy with. Plus, the Halo uses special pads that cost a lot of money, and they barely stick after a couple of uses since the adhesive wears out way faster than regular TENS pads. Watch out too because they'll try to add a different suggested product to your cart during returns, and it's really hard to remove it. They'd rather give you store credit instead of actually refunding your money.
I spent nearly $300 on a muscle stimulator with extra pads, and it never made it to my door. The tracking information claimed it was delivered on October 4th, but we were home the entire day and there was no package. They provided no proof of actually sending anything. I'm currently disputing this with my bank. Fair warning: this company doesn't seem to care about customers once they've got your cash.
I placed my order on April 17th and according to UPS tracking, it's been stuck in California since May 13th with zero updates. I've sent Chirp FIVE emails over more than a week and gotten nothing back except one response from a team member more than a week ago saying they'd follow up, which they never did. This is completely unprofessional. A company selling pain relief products shouldn't be giving customers this much stress. If something goes wrong with your order, expect to be ignored. I've filed a dispute with my bank and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I'm also planning to share this on review sites until I get a real response.
I ordered the Halo Wireless Muscle Stim model and waited a week without getting any shipping notification. When I finally contacted their support team, they told me it would ship Monday with expedited 3 to 5 day delivery. I checked back the following day and got a different story: the Halo and its pads had apparently been out of stock for quite a while. Why didn't they mention this right away? I asked why they allowed me to buy something they couldn't actually send and why they didn't tell me this from the start. Their response was that the website showed an estimated ship date of the 16th due to stock issues. But here's the thing: the site said nothing about being out of stock when I made my purchase. Now it says orders after a certain time should ship by January 6th, but I ordered on the 7th with no mention of any stock problems at all. Makes you wonder what's really going on.
They let me order something that showed 2 to 5 business day shipping, but it still hasn't gotten here after ten days. Zero emails, no alerts about delays, no new timeframe. I only found out it was delayed when I called them myself. No notification sent at all. Their response was 'we posted it on our website,' which isn't helpful.
I got the Halo unit and really liked how it worked, but then I realized I only got 2 out of 3 sets of pads I had ordered. I spent over $200 and didn't get everything. It took me a month to even notice, and they never sent any email saying anything was out of stock or back ordered. When I emailed support, they told me the missing items were back ordered until late October. I ordered this stuff back in September, so that's a long wait with zero communication from them. By the way, I got no apology either, just the back order update. More than a week after the expected date and still nothing. My order still shows as incomplete and in transit. If you're going to charge someone for a full order, you need to actually send all of it.
