What Shoppers Say About Acer
Acer's store receives sharply divided feedback. Some shoppers praise the website design, straightforward navigation, and efficient customer service, with orders arriving faster than expected. However, the majority of reviewers report serious problems, including prolonged order delays and non-delivery (with some waiting weeks without resolution), failed payment processing on the store's end, unresponsive customer support that takes days to reply with template responses, difficulty linking accounts created through different methods, and frustration with hardware choices like the Copilot key on keyboards.
The recurring complaints suggest systemic issues with order fulfillment, payment infrastructure, and support responsiveness rather than isolated incidents. Multiple shoppers described either being unable to complete purchases or waiting extended periods without receiving items or meaningful help from support staff.

Sorted by: Most recentPlaced an order for a battery back in late summer and still haven't received it three weeks later. I've emailed repeatedly but keep getting told the messages aren't going through. Last I heard, there's some kind of glitch on their end and they told me to block their address. Being in my seventies, I'm not always comfortable with internet stuff, but looking back at this whole mess, I'm pretty sure I got ripped off.
They basically handed over the right CTRL key to Windows and now it's a Copilot button. Honestly, it might be the least useful key on any keyboard. Total waste of space.
Absolutely the worst support experience. I made a purchase on the website without creating an account first. Afterward, I signed up using my Google account and the same email I'd used during checkout. When I logged into my new account to view my orders, nothing was there. I submitted a ticket through their contact form describing the situation. An automated response came back telling me to use the privacy contact form instead, as if this was somehow a data access issue. Within 5 minutes, the ticket disappeared without my input. When I tried that privacy form, it wouldn't even load properly. Since my first ticket was already closed, I had to start over with a new one explaining everything again plus mentioning the broken form. They sent the exact same message about using the privacy channel with the same broken link, and slammed the ticket shut again in under 5 minutes without asking me anything. Eventually I got the privacy form to work and filled it out. Still waiting on any real help from that.
I attempted to order 4 different times and kept running into issues. The payment processing on the store side keeps failing (verified with my bank that the problem isn't on their end). When I reached out to Acer support, responses took 3 to 4 days to come back. Every response follows the same template: something broke, we have no clue what it is, and frankly we don't seem to care. Have a nice day, ticket closed. There's no actual effort to help solve anything or understand what went wrong. Feels like they couldn't be less interested in keeping customers happy. This whole situation made us miss out on getting a gift we needed for a holiday because I ran out of time trying to get an order through with them.
Great shopping experience overall. The website layout is really straightforward and makes finding stuff simple. Their customer service team is efficient and helpful. Orders arrived faster than expected. Really pleased with how everything went.
