Sorted by: Most recentLooking for a spring house flag with applique work. As someone who's been sewing for over 60 years, I really only use applique flags and avoid screen printed ones. Evergreen showed 2 options they said were applique. When I zoomed in on the pictures as much as I could, they honestly looked screen printed to me, not applique. Yeah, I could see some stitching around a couple birds, but that was basically it. I called to double check since it's tough to tell from online photos, but they didn't seem like real applique work to me. The rep put me on hold to check with a manager and came back saying yes, they're definitely applique. I wasn't convinced, but I said okay I'll order it with the understanding that if it shows up and isn't actually applique, I can send it back for a full refund including return shipping both directions. When the flag arrived, it turned out exactly how I thought it would. The thing was like 98 percent screen print and only 2 percent applique, with just the 2 birds actually appliqued. I called again and told them these are NOT applique flags and asked them to fix their website description. The person I talked to absolutely lost it on me, yelling and insisting that it definitely IS applique. I ended up yelling back
