I had one of the worst at-home styling appointments of my life. The stylist told me right away that she doesn't use the app, so I had no way to reach her directly through the platform. My appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM, but she showed up 40 minutes late. I spent over half an hour on hold with customer support just trying to get confirmation that she was actually coming. When the service finally started, it was rushed and sloppy. The stylist ignored the pictures I'd shown her for inspiration, didn't even spray my updo with hairspray until I specifically asked for it, and finished the whole thing in about 15 minutes. My hair fell apart before the event was even over. On top of everything else, the person who showed up wasn't the same person in the app photos, which made me really uncomfortable. I asked about canceling and getting my money back since she was so late, didn't match her profile, and the work was terrible, but they refused. This whole experience was disappointing, made me feel unsafe, and wasn't acceptable in any way. The service was nowhere near what should be expected.

Working with Glamsquad was absolutely wonderful. They were so easy to communicate with and always got back to me super quickly whether it was through text or email. I really can't thank them enough for sending over their stylist. Since I'm unable to leave my home, going to a salon wasn't an option for me. This person was incredible - she worked fast, genuinely cared about how I was feeling, and made me feel completely comfortable and accepted. At 41 years old, dealing with health issues that made it impossible to even take care of my own hair was really hard on me emotionally. I desperately needed help getting the tangles out. She was exactly who I needed, and all my worries and shame just disappeared the moment she started working. I feel so grateful and like I'm getting my life back together. Plus the cost was so reasonable! You really do have an amazing person on your team. Thank you so much ❤️
