The laces on Altra shoes are really disappointing quality and keep falling off. I own two pairs and both have the same problem with laces that won't stay tied. These shoes have potential but they need to use better quality laces.

Terrible experience. They take 10 to 14 days just to receive your shoes and another 16 days or more to process the return. I'm still waiting on my refund from this nightmare. Customer service refuses to actually help or even apologize. They just repeat their policies and say everything is "normal." The shoes might be okay, but don't order from their website.

The upper material is overly soft, which might work for wider feet but causes your foot to slip on the sole, resulting in cramped toes. The shoes don't hold up well. For the price, it's a bad deal. After just weeks or months, you get holes in the toe area, seams splitting open, or the shoe structure completely collapses with zero support left, combined with slippery soft soles. While the zero-drop concept sounds good, the rubber is so soft that your heel absorbs most of your weight and you end up standing on a slope. This puts serious strain on your Achilles tendon and isn't suitable for running. I've tried reaching out to Altra multiple times through their website. Their customer service is shockingly rude and usually doesn't respond at all. It's a decent idea but the execution is broken in every meaningful way.

Skip this company entirely. Their customer service is honestly the worst you'll encounter. All you get are template responses that don't actually address or solve your issues.

Never did. I've emailed them multiple times and even messaged their European Instagram account. They said they'd contact Italy, but the money never showed up. Don't buy from their European site. It's an awful company.

Got two pairs of shoes, one for road and one for trail, and I absolutely adore them both. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. There was a small defect inside my road shoes, so I contacted customer service even though I wasn't sure they could help since I bought them in-store.
