Recently purchased an Arc'teryx Beta Down jacket in Forage and absolutely love it. This is an exceptional jacket in every way. Looks fantastic and dressy enough to wear in town without any second thoughts. I've tested it once in near-freezing temps with just one wool shirt under it and it's incredibly warm. People talk about new Gore-tex being loud, but I completely disagree. Barely notice any sound and honestly enjoy hearing rain hitting it. Yes, it's pricier than alternatives, but you really do get what you pay for. The specs are impressive: Gore-tex waterproof capabilities and 850 down fill quality speak for themselves. Their customer support is really disappointing and the warranty situation is even worse. They won't stand behind items when pricing is so inflated and the quality has dropped dramatically. I'd skip this brand and take your business elsewhere given their overall attitude.

I paid more for faster delivery and waited over a week with no arrival status. I tried calling and emailing but received nothing back. It showed up after almost three weeks and was completely the wrong size. I attempted to contact them yet again about returning the jacket and getting reimbursed for the expedited shipping, but they ignored me. The support was really lacking and the sizing appears off compared to UK standards.

When it finally came after more than two weeks, it was way too small. I tried contacting them again about a refund for both the coat and the rush shipping fee, but they never got back to me. Don't bother with this brand, the jacket quality is subpar. Both my jacket and my partner's have developed countless little snags and loose threads scattered all over them. We've barely used them for casual hiking but they look like they're years old when they're only three months in. When I contacted support, they blamed it on my backpack wear even though the damage isn't on my back or shoulders. They also didn't address that my partner's jacket has identical issues and she's never worn a backpack, yet they still seemed to blame the backpack somehow. They offered a discount on replacement jackets, but only if we sent back the defective ones for recycling. That completely missed the point because we're unhappy with what we got, so spending hundreds more on the same problem makes no sense. Lesson learned: I'm staying away from this label.

Disappointed with how long it takes this company to get orders shipped out, then they partner with a carrier that's equally sluggish. The whole process from purchase to delivery has been frustrating. It's unfortunate because the actual gear is solid, but I'm going to shop with someone else moving forward.

The support I got was genuinely exceptional, way above what you typically see these days. Amy was fantastic and I'll definitely keep buying from a company that takes care of its customers like that.
