Got a pair of Kustom thongs and wore them just twice. Left them sitting out on the deck one sunny day and the rubber soles actually shrank so much they're impossible to wear. I reached out to customer support and after going back and forth multiple times, they said it was 'accidental damage'. If you can't leave thongs in the sun during summer without them getting ruined, they're made from the wrong materials and shouldn't be sold as summer footwear. Really frustrating. Update: I mentioned to them that I have the same thongs from 4 years ago that have gotten the same sun exposure and treatment, and they're still fine. That's actually why I bought a new pair. Clearly the materials they're using now are different, so this should be a manufacturing defect. Thongs melting in summer sun seems like a pretty big problem. Do your board shorts dissolve in water too? And to top it off, after they decided it wasn't covered, they bothered to mail my destroyed thongs back to me.

I actually like City Beach, but man their website needs work. The Shopping Assistant constantly pops up on the side and it's buggy as heck, gets stuck there and won't go away. I've had so many times where I can't even reach my cart because the assistant is jammed on the screen. My computer's not the problem either. I've got 3 teenagers and I normally drop several hundred dollars when I shop with you, but I've started going to competitors because this pop up is driving me insane. Even closing it out and refreshing doesn't help, it just comes back. Please sort this out and I'll take down this review without hesitation. Get rid of that feature and I'm back.

This company is absolutely ridiculous charging me a fee to send an item back. Never would have purchased if I'd known about that charge upfront.

Ordered shoes that were on sale, and then a couple days later they refunded me a smaller amount and bumped the price back up. Now I'm without shoes and waiting days for my money to show back in my bank account.

I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you expect to be treated like you matter. I got a school bag for my daughter's first year of high school, and it fell apart before the term ended. The zipper gave out in the final week, but even though it was clearly defective, they wouldn't give me store credit because it technically surpassed their 30 day policy for faulty items. They counted the purchase date rather than when she actually started using it, so the warranty didn't apply. When I tried to speak with management in person, they wouldn't help and just told me to email their customer service. All I got was back and forth emails asking me to ship the bag to them at my own cost so they could look at it. Feels like they're intentionally trying to frustrate people until they quit complaining. It's obvious they don't care about keeping customers, and the fact that you can't post reviews about individual items on their site says a lot about the quality of what they're selling.

Purchased a pair of pants that shrank dramatically after a single regular wash. They're basically unwearable now. The product page had no washing guidelines, and I have similar items from other companies that have never shrunk like this. I contacted customer service, sent pictures, and respectfully requested a refund. They turned me down flat and claimed it was my mistake even though there were no special care instructions listed anywhere. In Australia, you're supposed to get quality products, and these fall short big time. Dropping 60 dollars on pants that can't survive one wash is ridiculous, and their refusal to help makes it even worse. Stay away. Their support team is terrible.
